Perfect location to move around the city and see the sites. Lots of dining choices and walking distance. Along with bars and entertainment. Would definitely stay at this property again. Small issue with parking but unfortunately the entire town has the same issue.

Room was very nice and clean. Friendly staff. 1 warning-my Grandaugher and I were meeting there for her birthday. When arrived was told only 1 vehicle per room in parking lot. Would have been nice knowing this before booking this motel!!!

It was in walking distance of everything. Restaurants were right next door, and it was very afforable.

I have stayed here many times...but this time things were not up to the usual high standard. Also pool is being removed, we were not informed of the and had wanted to enjoy that, Just disappointed this time. Hope it is a temporary thing!

The good check in was fast and reception very polite and helpfull location is great easy walking distance to fort and historic parts of town. The bad when entering the rooms musty smell was overpowering ( not sure if it was from flooding or humidity but very powerful) shower caulking black mould, shower temperature could not be controlled very hot and scalding, bed had hair on sheet and pillow case was dirty, Was bitten in the night not sure by what. Parking on site is limited get there early Overall not sure where they get their rating of wonderful not really a picky person but would like to get my moneys worth when staying somewhere clean and refreshing would have been nice! Would never recommend this location or stay here again.

Love this place. We stayed at Casa Monica last time, and spent triple this and it was terrible. This place is awesome. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a beautiful view and the sunrise in the morning was one of the best parts. It had a very convenient location and we were able to walk everywhere. Restaurants are just a few steps away as well. Bedding and towels were fresh and clean. The shower was huge and we had great water pressure.

Room was nice and completely remodeled! The only down side was the old window unit air conditioner barely cooled off the room, and the shower! The shower head had little to no pressure and could barely bathe in it. Overall a nice hotel.

Typical motor lodge. Easy parking, quiet, comfy beds. Very friendly staff and helpful. Area is very safe and easily walkable.

It’s an older motel style place, so not perfect condition but it was immaculately clean, the receptionist was friendly and super helpful. The view is wonderful and there are a couple of chairs outside each room to enjoy the breeze and the spectacularly wide water. Location is excellent. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants, shops and historical sites. Leave your car there - nearly all the public lots range between $20-30 flat fee.

Property was clean.

AC unit was too noise and we were not able to sleep at all. We found a huge cockroach on the floor.

This was an awesome hotel, planning to visit again and stay longer. Beautiful view from our room.

Good area

The Marion has a fabulous location, walk to everything and not move the car. The view from the balcony was great. The bed was clean and comfortable But....... The King room only superficially clean. There was rips in the furniture and what looked like mold in the shower room. It's general a tired property that could use a little TLC. We visit St Augustine often and we won't visit the Marion again.

Would have like to have a table and chairs in the room and Paper cups !! Otherwise Loved the walkin shower was awesome and refrigerator , microwave was a plus.

Completely updated property,perfect Historical location with scenic view of river with many vessels outward appearance is definitely deceiving Cute outdoor patio off of each room Keurig w/coffee and refrig in room 👍👍👍

Great area, have stayed several times here, this time though, looked a little weathered with cracks in windows, mattresses horribly uncomfortable.

Let’s start with the positives: - nice staff - FREE parking (legit free, not hidden in the price of the hotel) - suuuuuper convenient to everything - GORGEOUS view The negatives are not too bad, but may be important/beneficial to others before booking: - blankets, pillowcases and towels aren’t pristine: our rags and towels had weird red “kool aid” looking spots on them; the white towels weren’t exactly white lol, they were dingy, but luckily I brought towels and rags from home because I was a little unsure and I am a little bougie when it comes to cleanliness; as far as the pillowcase goes, I slept with my cardigan over my pillow and on top of the sheets with a blanket from home because I could not (hubby just slept with my bonnet on because he didn’t have anything to put over his pillow and he said he didn’t even want his locs on the pillow) - baseboards were full up dust.. hubby and I have owned a home for 4 years and our baseboards don’t accumulate as much dust as there was.. AND we own 2 cats - door handles were…… gross lol, but we just wiped those down with our Clorox wipes.. even the doors were dirty, like it looked like somebody flicked drops of toothpaste on the walls and door near the sink - the air went down to 62 and we were still HOT, but I think it’s just the placement of the ac unit (I typically keep our ac on 76 during the day because I’m extremelyyyyy cold natured, so when I say it was hot, it was hot lol) - bed is uncomfortable and pillows are PAPER
