Very clean and comfortable! The room was bigger than I thought. All necessary facitities were provided within the room. The location was not too far from the main station. It was easy to wondering around for chilling, shopping, finding some food & ice cream. Very friendly and super kind staff. Ps. I met the hotel's owner when I checked-in! She was a super cute cat :)

An excellent experience overall, a friendly welcome and fast check-in, a comfortable and clean room with a lovely balcony and modern bathroom, and the reception was helpful and thoughtful. Excellent location near city center and lake, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, on-site parking. This has been our hotel of choice for several years when we visit Locarno, and we have never been disappointed.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at City Hotel Locarno. Room was well equipped, modern and perfectly clean. Bed was comfortable and rather big. Service was great with all staff being super friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our stay and if in Locarno, we'd definitely come back.

Excellent location in centre of Locarno. Good quality and high level of friendly service. If you are brnging a car you might need to reserve a parking space as capacity is limited at hotel car park.

Very nice hotel located near the lake. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and the room was as expected on the pictures. WiFi in the room worked fine too. In case you don’t want to go to far, the hotel is connected to the Perbacco restaurant which serves great meals in a friendly atmosphere. Hotel guests get 10% discount if they eat there. Just fine for an overnight stay in Locarno.

I have stayed in several hotels in Locarno, not sure if I have been lucky but they have all been very good - and this was also the case here. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. My modern room was unusually spacious for a single, with a decent sized balcony too. The bathroom had an excellent shower and nice bright lighting. The cleanliness was very good throughout. There was a good choice at the breakfast buffet, usual range of bread, rolls, sliced meat, cheese, cereals etc. - and some very nice cake slices, in keeping with the proximity of this area to Italy. The only thing perhaps is that the hotel doesn't have quite as much character or interesting views as those nearer the waterfront. However it is a high quality, good value place to stay in a convenient location and I was very happy with my experience there.

The hotel is very well located in Locarno, near many restaurants. The price is right for the quality of hotel. Staff was friendly and breakfast buffet was excellent.

The whole experience was fantastic, hotel is close to the train station, rooms are fresh, new and clean, internet is very strong and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Even to the point where they made a few phone calls in the local language (Thanks Emma) to help book a hotel for our next destination. Very impressed.
