Hotel in very nice surrounding, good breakfast, room seemed to be a bit run down

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Sandra (at the reception) and Mark (Dinning room) were great! Sandra was very attentive and always had a very good energy, an upbeat and welcoming smile and helped us get around. They didn't have a bartender that night, but she tried to satisfy my needs by looking up how to make my drink and she made it! She Aldo helped us get the application to pay for bus tickets. Mark was also very attention-detail person. With patience and good listening skills (because we didn't speak Norwegian), he took the time to make recommendations and bring our food. We were very please with his attention. Now, onto my only opportunity for improvement for the hotel : Please consider making available a shuttle to Eidsvoll Verk (the station where you take the bus to/from the hotel's closest bus stop). It's ok if its has a cost, but make it available!! Why? The bus service is very Intermittent and very spaced out, in such way, that you can't rely if you need to go back to OSL airport. I am sure guest traveling without a car are willing to pay.

This is a great hotel at a wonderful location with a really great breakfast. Overall, what really stands out is the customer service attitude of all staff. They make you feel welcome throughout your stay - from the reception staff, the people at the breakfast and the waiters at the restaurant. Would definitely come back

Men rommet var ekkelt. død edderkopp i vinduskarmen, spindelvev inne og mye utenfor vinduet til rommet.støv og markeringsteip for hull i vegg. litt "gammel" lukt på rommet og sjeneret et gammelt rom som trenger oppussing. Gadd ikke og spørre om nytt rom pga skulle bare sove til ny jobb dag.

Great location , close by the water , very good restaurant and nice rooms

This hotel is aroune 30 minute drive to north from Oslo airport (more than 1 hour from Oslo down town) and is at totally suburban area with beautiful trees, mountains and peaceful lake. It was very good for rest and refreshment. Swimming pool was a bit small but nice, room was very clean, all the facilities were excellent including the bar with fire place, outdoor tables with blankets provided, sunbed nearby the lake.

Great hotel for a company retreat as it is surrounded by lake and forests. Could possibly be good for a couples get-away or a spa weekend as well - although the fact that the SPA/ pool was closed for refurbishment with no prior notice in 34 degree heat was a downer for us. The hotel is modern and seems relatively new, but lacks air-conditioning like many rural Norwegian hotels. On the positive side, we had booked a pet-friendly room (we were traveling with our dog) that turnoed out to be nice, and we were able to borrow a fan from the reception. Breakfast was tasty and had a broad selection for a wide range of breakfast preferences.

The hotel itself was fine, newly renovated and the staff was friendly however never asked once how I experienced the hotel, if I was happy about the dinner, i etc. They did not put any extra effort into making you feel comfortable. The main issue I found was that the hotel restaurant, which is the only restaurant in MANY kilometres, it did not live up to standard. The food was overcooked, the portions were small and the selection of food was small too. It was way overpriced, I paid more for the food (including wine) for me and my partner than I did for the room and we still left feeling hungry... Would not come back here unfortunately.
