This hotel would’ve been magnificent in its heyday, all the original bones are there of what it used to look like but now it’s just dated and faded and needs a complete revamp and face lift. Service was very lacking, especially around the pool. All the staff seem to be trainees at least that’s what their name badges said.
My initial room that I was given upon arriving was very dirty. The towels were grey, stained and faded and I brought this to the staff attention and then was upgraded to a poolside room which was okay but the mattress was horrible so I had them swap that as well. The buffet breakfast was $25 and very disappointing as it was 95% Asian food very little western options.
The downstairs pool was beautiful, but although there is a bar down there it is not manned very often and it takes a long time to get a drink or any food, by the way the food was not great, and the cocktails depending on the day you ordered them were hit and miss. The upstairs rooftop pool was a barren concrete landscape that really lacked anylife or atmosphere, it needed a few umbrellas for shade.
Considering what I paid for this hotel, it definitely wasn’t the cheapest in the area. It really was quite a letdown. I would highly recommend staying elsewhere.

I had a very nice stay here! The staff was excellent and very friendly. Good locations with walking distance to everything. I would definitely recommend for any type of travel group, alone, friends or family. Will come back!

There was a cockroach in my room, the bathroom was filthy and the sheets were sticky. However, the staff are so wonderful and lovely, and the pool is nice.

Hotel is in disrepair, shower leaked everywhere, no balcony or operable window, insects throughout the room made worse by the staff leaving treats daily, pool bar never open, no music at pool bar. Bar restaurant was expensive and service was terrible. Food took 1 hour. Air con in room was left on permanently and still never cooled room. Unfriendly porters. Generally no atmosphere at hotel amenities. Couldnt charge breakfast to room so never went after first day. Roof top pool and facilities rubbish. Staff never left reception desk. Couldnt change room at a clearly half empty hotel. Never even asked how our stay was upon departure. Will not be back.

Hotel itself was very clean and rooms were lovely.
Area was really out of the way and meant a ride to anywhere decent - very expensive to eat anywhere local so ended up travelling to Kuta or elsewhere where far cheaper.
Hotel swum up bar never had any stock so ended up purchasing from the mini Matt across the road and serving ourselves which was kind of ridiculous.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned daily and the hotel is in generally good condition. The choice of rooftop or ground floor pool both swim up bar is nice, and the ground floor pool is huge and perfect for swimming laps. Overall was a good stay and decent value for money. The only negatives were that the sheets were clean but did some have some stains and there were traces of mould beginning in the bathroom. There is a small gym with about dozen machines and a spa which I did not get get time to try a massage this trip

The hotel room when you walk in looks clean ( by just looking) but it is not. I always wipe the high touch areas such as light switches, table tops, phone, door handles, bathroom counters with clorox wipes to disinfect and all the wipes were black from surface dirt that was not visible to the eye. I had to use multiple wipes to really clean which means they just clean very superficially, making the room look clean but they are not.

Bedding was not clean, hated using the towels after a shower they need new ones some even had stains on them, bathroom needs renovation bath & sink stained & discoloured.

Great property to stay at, if a bit run down. Bathrooms had some mould, toilet leaked water on the floor (was fixed after two visits from hotel maintenance), shower wasn’t very hot, tub covered in stains.
BUT the beds were extremely comfortable, housekeeping kept the room very tidy, rooftop pool was great, and the area was well located with lots of dining options nearby.
Overall, great value for money.

Loved our stay at Jambulwuk, staff were always helpful and friendly. The roof top pool was a highlight. There was 8 of us travelling together (2 families). Highly recommend Jambuluwuk. We will be back!

If you love cafes, the location of the hotel would be a great location for you to explore as many as you want to. The beach is a 10-15minute walk away.
My room was upgraded to a deluxe premier, and I loves the facilities. Staff are courteous and friendly. The room I was in was dimly-litted but I liked it that way. I felt well taken care of during my stay.

Loved this hotel. The staff is very friendly and supportive and the amenities are spectacular - two pools, spa with steam room and a decent gym. Also, I received a free upgrade! I ended up extending my stay for a total of 4 weeks and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel rooms are in shambles, the pillow cover were torn, the shower weren’t really functioning, no hot water and best of all bathroom filled with drain flies.
Our first room had a horrible bathroom, the second room we changed to had drain flies.
The room itself was okay and staff are polite but that’s about it. Wouldn’t ever want to stay here.

We actually loved this hotel and got our room upgraded upon arrival which was amazing. Due to covid 19 we were forced to check out 5 days early and asked reception if we could possibly get a refund for the remaining days. Since then i have been back and forth with expedia and jambuluwuk and cant get any answer as to when or if we will receive our refund, the lack of comunication is dissapointing as we realy did enjoy our stay.

Changed our room due to the noise of the in-house generator that was noisy and changed to another room #321 very swiftly .Quality of cleanliness is ok but can be improve.Location is good surrounded by local eateries and western cafe .My panic moment distress me when I am at the airport departure gate and realised that we left our Blk shopping bag at the hotel . Call the hotel staff name Adriz to tell him about the situation .He responds immediately and send his staff name Dimas to deliver the bag to departure gate .Despite the heavy traffic to the airport , he make it on time and handover the bag to me with a warm smile Bravo We would like to thank you to both staff for the exceptional services rendered to us.Will recommend this hotel to our friends

My only negative would be that the nightclub was right outside our room and wouldnt stop playing music until 5am, but I know that is out of control of the hotel and they were happy to provide earplugs on request.

The executive room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is almost the same menu every day and the juices are not cold enough (placed in a fridge). The staff was ok, lack of smiles and welcome feel from the counter up to the breakfast areas.
