Bit smelly

Super friendly, cleanliness, size of the room, lovely gardens, close to shops, and the breakfast option and quality was sensational

Very clean, all I needed and great position

Modernized motel room was clean and comfortable. Our queen bed was on the hard side but gave us a good night sleep. The room was equipped with a writing desk, a seperate counter for dining or as a second desk. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a treat in the restaurant across the road. Staff there were also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ordered cooked fresh off a set menu, including choice of beverage. The bacon was very good. I would have given a perfect score had it not been for 2 things: I had to search for a face towel and found only 1 (bathroom cabinet) when there are 2 of us staying; and the bathroom fan (which turned on with the light) made a very unpleasant racket. We stayed in room 11.

Old and a bit worn, but clean with an excellent comfy bed. Kitchette with full cooker was a bonus, as was the complimentsry cooked breakfast at a cafe over the road. Would stay again.

The hotel was clean and well presented. I’d guess the rooms have been renovated in the last 5 years. Great rain shower. Good sized double room and en suite. Fridge, hob and microwave were a bonus. Breakfast at the cafe across the road which came free with the room was huge and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again as it’s right in the centre of town. Also worth a walk to the Pioneer museum which is packed full of an unbelievable amount of stuff and it’s all fascinating.

1 of the breakfast staff was adamant that going through wotif meant we weren't eligible for the complimentary breakfast. We checked after we ordered and brought said staff member's attention to it.She said well ,we should have checked, but she was so definite about it all! As it turns out she gave us $11 back- i guess it covered our coffees and we didn't argue about it. Everything else was so lovely and they were very happy to cater for me as I'm a coeliac.

This is the second time we have stayed here and for the price it is brilliant. The rooms are large, well appointed with very comfy beds. The shower is incredible. The staff are very friendly and the complementary breakfast is unbelievable. A fabulous place to stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Trevor and Di were so friendly and welcoming. The facilities in the room very good with split air system, smart TV, oven, sink, excellent shower and quiet. I was given a complimentary hot breakfast the next day that was absolutely sensational. I really suggest staying at this place if you’re going to Mudgee or passing through on a trip. I really enjoyed it here.

Everything! Especially free breakfast and coffee!

The owners are friendly and willing to have a chat. The hot breakfast was delicious! The room had been recently updated…which is clean and tidy. Well worth a visit.

Property was clean and tidy, Di and Trevor were so lovely and friendly. The rooms were lovely, very spacious and clean. We were in the family room and we loved it

Ten Dollar Town Motel is slap bang in the middle of the historic township of Gulgong. Rooms are extremely well fitted out and comfortable and Trevor and staff were so welcoming and helpful. If you’re looking to stay here then book early as the motel has really high utilisation. Cannot fault the motel or the town and we’ll definitely be back !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at this motel. It is very convenient to everything in town, it is lovely and clean, and the breakfast is amazing. Will certainly stay here again when next in the vicinity.

Very historical area. Visit the museum on Mayne St. (That is the correct spelling). The first impression of the original facade might put you off, but the motel was great. The room was as good as any Holiday Inn. Breakfast across the toad was excellent. Trevor at the front desk was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Minor complaint. Shower hot water could have been a little hotter.

Whilst not a 5 star ratinf it was comfortable , clean & had a good quiet ambience. Staff go out of the way to be helpful & total offer was excellent.

Our rooms were impeccable, staff are unbelievably friendly and accomodating, and the motel restaurant is fantastic! Could not be happier with our stay, and cannot believe the price! You don’t get this level of service from other hotels that are 5x the price.
