I could not find fault with this wonderful country motel. The room was large with 2 comfortable QS beds, a long desk, table & chairs, microwave, fridge & coffee/tea amenities. The bathroom had been recently renovated and had the best shower experienced all trip. A laundry onsite and breakfast included just finished a list of anything you might require. A definite gem.

Great, clean room/motel. 5 star for most of it, but pillows were quite hard or extra soft. Very comfortable stay & breakfast was great. Love the old style shower head which actually washes the shampoo out of your hair better then the new 'water savers', where you have to use more water to get the job done!! Really great motel.

Queen room with kitchenette was well appointed, modernised, well sized and comfortable. Quiet yet convenient location with Gulgong main street 1 minute walk away. Happy to recommend and stay again in the future. !

Modernized motel room was clean and comfortable. Our queen bed was on the hard side but gave us a good night sleep. The room was equipped with a writing desk, a seperate counter for dining or as a second desk. Check in staff was friendly and helpful.
The complimentary breakfast was a treat in the restaurant across the road. Staff there were also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ordered cooked fresh off a set menu, including choice of beverage. The bacon was very good.
I would have given a perfect score had it not been for 2 things: I had to search for a face towel and found only 1 (bathroom cabinet) when there are 2 of us staying; and the bathroom fan (which turned on with the light) made a very unpleasant racket. We stayed in room 11.

The hotel was clean and well presented. I’d guess the rooms have been renovated in the last 5 years. Great rain shower. Good sized double room and en suite.
Fridge, hob and microwave were a bonus.
Breakfast at the cafe across the road which came free with the room was huge and the staff were friendly.
I would stay here again as it’s right in the centre of town.
Also worth a walk to the Pioneer museum which is packed full of an unbelievable amount of stuff and it’s all fascinating.

1 of the breakfast staff was adamant that going through wotif meant we weren't eligible for the complimentary breakfast.
We checked after we ordered and brought said staff member's attention to it.She said well ,we should have checked, but she was so definite about it all!
As it turns out she gave us $11 back- i guess it covered our coffees and we didn't argue about it. Everything else was so lovely and they were very happy to cater for me as I'm a coeliac.
