Fantastic house and super nice owner!

We had a fabulous time at villa Birdie. Blanca and zavi were excellent hosts. This boutique hotel was better than our expectations. The hotel was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. Blanca gave us great tourist advice to enjoy San Sebastián. We didn’t have a car, but was able to use public transport which was efficient and a short ride to the centre. Look forward to our return

Amazing management and very welcoming staff. Room was a little small but very charming.

The owner of the property is very gregarious and extremely helpful. We were in Northern Spain for 14 days and stayed at 7 different hotels. Villa Birdie was the best overall facility.

What a truly outstanding villa with 5 star touches and in a great location too. Our host couldn’t do enough for us during our stay which made our stay even more special. It was great having access to water, beer and soft drinks by the pool and this really made it a home from home. Better than any 5 star accommodation we’ve stayed in.

Amazing place, amazing host, highly recommend. It is a 20/30 minute walk from town but very simple and cheap to catch the No. 13 bus if necessary.

Good stay in San Sebastian

Excellence all around. Service, room, location, ambience, and staff.Best stay in our 15 day itinerary. The innkeeper, Blanca exceeds all expectations for service, area recommendations, and assistance with information. She is very kind, gracious, and enjoyable in conversation.We've traveled extensively and find rate this in our top 5.

Good location for the bus into San Sebastián. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and very well appointed. Overall had the feel of a B&B versus a hotel/villa. Was like being a guest in someone's home. Owner was VERY friendly and knowledgeable about the area, with suggestions of places to visit.

My husband and I experienced a wonderful time at Villa Birdie, the place is so nice, very confortable and quite. We enjoyed the swimming pool area, breakfast at the patio and of course the owner’s company. San Sebastian city center is walking distance, Arzak restaurant is almost on the same street. A good selection, without doubts.

Had a great stay here, small chic hotel that really incaptures the local spirit of San Sebastian. Blanca was a perfect host speaking perfect english and couldn't have looked after us better whilst giving us great knowledge of the history of the city and also the best spots for a drink and bite to eat. Would recommend this hotel and city to anyone.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la villa birdie . Villa spacieuse et joliment décoré. Prestations au top : Piscine , parking , chambre spacieuse , déco , propreté : service !!! Un grand Merci à Bianca pour son accueil , sa gentillesse et ses bonnes adresses . Merci à Maria pour le petit dej :-) Emplacement parfait avec bus à proximité pour rejoindre le centre ville très facilement. Je recommande la villa birdie pour un séjour en amoureux et je reviendrai surement :-)

Villa Birdie is first class. Blanca is the perfect hostess, providing excellent recommendations, making bookings and happy to discuss the state of the world. Maria is charming and cheerful. The property is spotless and is highly recommended.

It is close to the city center, which is easily reached by walking, bus or taxi. If youre driving, they offer secured parking. The breakfast each morning is freshly prepared and outstanding- including great coffee. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. By far the best thing about Villa Birdie is the owner, Blanca. She a lovely and spirited Basque woman who made our stay in San Sebastian memorable and fun. All her recommendations for food and things to see/do were right on the money. Her knowledge of the area and its history is very strong, and enlightening. Blanca assisted us with restaurant reservations, taxis and anything else we needed. Put simply, Villa Birdie is an outstanding place to stay while enjoying the beauty, history and amazing cuisine of San Sebastian and the Basque region, and Blanca is an superb hostess. Blanca and María made sure we were well looked after from the moment we checked in. Blanca gave lots of useful recommendations about the area, restaurants and traditions too. The villa is beautiful and exceptionally well kept. It feels like you have a private villa as there are so few rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day!

Blanca the owner of this Villa was an absolute gem! She was really what made our holiday, I have never had someone so attentive and helpful as her at anywhere else I have stayed on my travels.

It`s the perfect place for a stay in San Sebastian. We will definitely come back.
