Great location! Clean rooms with daily housekeeping

Lovely hotel.

Staff went out of their way to make sure me and my girlfriend had a fantastic stay.

Booked this hotel based on specific room type. When I checked in and got to my room it was a different room type. Went back downstairs to front desk and attendant explained that my purchased/prepaid room type was unavailable and they knew this when they gave me the key but didn’t bother explaining or letting me know (I guess they wanted to surprise me). I requested a refund so that I could go to another hotel with the room I needed. They explained that they could not do this. I explained that the room type given to me would not work. They apologized and agreed that it was a bummer I had a room I could not sleep in. I then asked for rollaway bed, which they agreed to. Very frustrating that I needed to troubleshoot and solve the issue to a disinterested attendant after a long drive with 2 kids. Next morning was charged for breakfast although we had prepaid for breakfast. Hotel was in good condition, will try somewhere else next time I am in Iowa City.

Lots of food options are in the area. The hotel is very nice.

Parking is a little tough, but understandable because of the university being so close.

We reserved a two queen size bed room and received a king sized bed with a rollout cot. It was uncomfortable for three of us to stay in the room. The room was not prepared with pillows and blankets. We had to call down for those. I'm disappointed.

Hotel rooftop was beautiful and the meal was very good. The location was perfect for walking to the campus/town/rec center

Absolutely love the rooftop restaurant. My 10 year old granddaughter thought she was in heaven. Great view of the college campus. So far it’s been the best part of our trip.

First time there and it was great!

The staff was Friendly. I appreciated the parking being included! When parked, it was very difficult to find the entrance of the hotel through the parking garage.

The staff are amazing. Bed is comfortable and centrally located. Always enjoy that our dog can come and stay with us. And breakfast selection is excellent..

Cellphone service was terrible. Also the tv service kept cutting in and out. Also the wifi wouldn’t connect.

We only spent 1 night in Iowa City, but the room and the bed were comfortable. Everything was clean. The person at the front desk was friendly.

Nice property, it was surprisingly quiet for being downtown. Someone dined at restarunt and charged to my room, but it was easily removed. I would suggest the restaurant ask proof of room b4 allowing someone to charge a meal.

Great stay. Good breakfast available on site or at a short walk. Downtown hotel on walkable university campus.

Excellent facility that’s close to everything in downtown Iowa City. Had a private event in The Vue Rooftop and the staff and food were top notch!

I checked into my room and the tv was broke and they got me a new room and I wanted to pay for a movie and that’s not an option, I had to watch regular cable tv and I was in a seminar for 2 days and couldn’t watch a movie. The food was strange and very spicy. I asked if I could do just a regular cheeseburger or plain shrimp instead of the spicy version and I was told no… Then I ordered a White Zinfandel, which is a basic glass of wine & didn’t have it. So I had to go through asking about Chablis or Chardonnay & she told me no. I had to walk to the other hotel next door to get a Mt Dew. The parking was a mess, no one helped me with my bags and I was alone. It just didn’t have much personal service and I had to use my key card even to take the elevator. I also didn’t get my seminar room rate. I just was not impressed and I was disappointed. I had 2 nights away from my kids and I couldn't get anything I wanted. I would’ve stayed next door at the hotel if I would’ve known. They had everything I wanted.

The staff is helpful and very friendly. I didn't stay long, but it was comfortable and I had no issues. This is the 2nd time I've stayed there while in town. It's a good value

Parking ramp behind priority and easy to access hotel and ramp. Check-in was quick and easy and front desk staff was knowledgeable and super helpful.

Very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel - the room all the way down to the pool and fitness area was very well maintained. The front desk staff was very friendly and answeres all of our questions. Well within walking distance to anything you hope to do around the downtown area - two blocks to the ped mall was perfect!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Olivia at the front desk helped us navigate around town and provided great information regarding local events and transportation. Nice place for sure.

This was a lousy experience. We got into the room and the kids sleep couch wasn’t made and had old sheets on. I was told by management to fix it and myself and housekeeping handed me sheets . The breakfast was average at best and the breakfast attendant was overbearing and pushing for tips.
