Lovely place, great pub with interesting menu. The room was great, clean very easy to check in etc. Very cool place. Would stay again. Only issues: 1 parking is limited / on the road. 2 We had a balcony room. This was great in the morning but it’s directly above the pub decking - not particularly private, and so you get smoke and noise until the pub shuts. Next time I wouldn’t bother with paying extra for this.

Stayed in the “River View” room. Wonderful views with friendly staff. Great food too! Loved the pastries left for breakfast in the room.

Fab venue. I give 5* to the kitchen they served up a fabulous dinner. I am still raving about it. If someone asks me for a recommendation to stay when visiting Glastonbury then it has to be The Sheppey. I'm going back when the live music starts up. This place rocks!

This is not the first time we have stayed at the Sheppy and every time it has exceeded our expectations. Very quirky, great food, great ales and cider, great rooms and very attentive staff. Thanks again and see you again soon.

Out of the way quirky place to stay. The food in the pub was great, great selection of beers and ciders and even a great disco thrown in. Hamper breakfast fantastic idea and we will be back again soon with friends.

Very nice eclectic rooms, very comfy beds & a perfect nights sleep. The restaurant is superb too.

The views across the garden were fantastic and the room was clean, spacious and bed very comfortable! Loved the large shower as well and the quirky decor. The food in the restaurant was really tasty and a really good, unique selection of dishes. The manager was great as well, very attentive, friendly and chatty. Literally can’t fault it. Amazing place. The room was beautiful, food was delicious & the wide range of beers was top notch.The staff are just awesome! In particular Roy and Ali (I think) really made us feel welcome, checking we had everything we needed and ensuring we had a lovely stay.

I love this place, and always stay here when I am in the area. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming, the food os great and the rooms are comfy and quirky.

An wonderful room full of design and character. A very welcoming and accommodating team who you felt nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely stay again.

The Sheppey was a last minute decision for a day trip within the area. At first the location can appear daunting and far from civilization, and the building was not at best appealing. However there was a warm welcome and all the staff were helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Being situated in a pub meant that the noise levels on the first night were high due to themed evenings which are arranged weekly. This did not last past 11pm, and was not at all an issue for us, but could be for others. The food at The Sheppey was inventive and very tasty, if not a little pricey. This could be overlooked when realising everything is sourced within the local area and the creativeness is inspiring. The room was extremely spacious and included everything a weary traveller could need and more. The room and pub are decorated in such a creative and artistic way that most would not dream of experimenting, however it worked. The only suggestion would be to increase lighting in the bedrooms. Overall, our stay was 10/10. We were comfortable and well fed. The addition of breakfast in the room made a nice touch meaning we could roll out of bed without rushing downstairs to catch usual breakfast times.
