Great place to stay: location close to Pub Street (less than 10 mins walk), Tuk-tuks available right outside the hotel for a dollar to pub street, cabs easily available outside to airport & day trips, few restaurants nearby but max choice in & around Pub Street.
Extremely reasonably priced: we 4 friends stayed in 4 separate rooms since it was so affordable (less than USD20 a night).
Rooms were smallish compared to star hotels but more than sufficient for a person. Room quality, bed, linen, toilet, towels, cleanliness, AC all good. Toilets had body soap & shampoo.
The pool seemed good but we didn't have sufficient time to try it out.
A small cafe/restaurant next to the pool in the Ground floor was serving food all day. We had only breakfast there and loved it. Prices were very reasonable.
The reception staff were very friendly, helpful & supportive.
Cafe staff were fine and could probably try to match their reception counterparts.
We got a cab (minivan) from the airport for USD15 for 1-way, and back.
The place has mostly youngsters and solo travellers and has a nice vibe all around. Would not recommend for families with kids though there would be nothing against their stay.
Lot of tour options provided at the hotel but we planned ourselves through a local cab driver since he was very flexible and more reasonably priced than the hotel.
Stay feels close to a 3* facility at a price for 1*.
Would definitely recommend and will come back again when we visit SR

Unsafe had locker broken into in dorm. There are no security cameras on lockers. The place is a haven for thieves. Hotel would not offer reimbursement or at least part off fit items stollen from locker . Hotel has no insurance for guests.
Private room may be better.

Staff are very friendly, it is a very happy place, rooms and beds are clean, they frequently cleaned the bathrooms, I found good friends, I really recommend this hostel.

Nice cozy hostel with additional private rooms.onsite pool & networking area & restaurant which serves spirits & good food. Overall good stay for both The young & the young at heart !

Hotel.com helped me to call the hotel to pick us upon arrival. Email was sent with our guests names, 4 rooms & 4 room nights, flight details & time arrival. We called the hotel upon arrival & after having waited 2 hrs, we managed to book a van & they promised to send us to the airport on departure instead. We told them to make the arrangement at the check in counter & had been told to wait. We checked out at 11:30am but still no news of the transport arrangement. We ended up calling a van to send us. We also had no breakfast on the morning to watch sunrise. We requested the night before. The person at the counter was rude when we asked if we can pack a simple snack before we going out as our breakfast were inclusive.

After staying at a variety of hostels the last couple months this was by far one of the cleanest hostel I stayed in. I also loved how the bathrooms included a blower dryer and even a straightener. My hair was happy.

Great hostel. Fantastic washrooms and spacious dorms with comfortable beds and even a staircase to the top bunk ! Very friendly and helpful staff. I think it's all the little details that make this place stick out from it's competitors.

What can I say, this is a top notch hostel. They have a solid business plan that translates to epic guest experience and comforts. During low season you're not really paying that much more, during high season I imagine you will be and would say that its so worth it.
Modern dorms, steps for top bunks, up to 2 mirrors in rooms. Spacious bathrooms. Free popcorn, loads of activities and all staff super friendly and helpful. Food was good too.

a really nice upscale hostel. Tho is has over 200 beds , it certainly doesn't feel that way. It is the off season and all. Pool is awesome

This hostel is great for solo travellers. The room is not big but very clean. There are good restaurants nearby. Have to walk for 8 mins to get to old market and pub street but I think it is ok walkable.

Such a wonderful hostel. Loved how the beds are set up and allow privacy. You could party if you wanted to by the pool or simple take an easy. Travel guide with hostel was amazing she set me up with a great til til driver to see the temples
