The hotel is located in a lovely little village. However, the customer service did not match the quality of the property. While I understand that mistakes happen, how they are addressed makes a significant difference. I had to leave the hotel early during my stay, and the hot water was not working. Starting my busy day in London with a cold shower at 5:00 AM was not ideal. Although the water was fixed by the time I returned, there was no offer of compensation or even a complimentary hot meal after a long day. Additionally, the shower cubicle in my room was full of mold, which surprised me, as I have never encountered such a thing in a hotel before. The staff were friendly enough, but I would recommend looking elsewhere before booking here, especially paying £110 a night.

Room was freezing cold, bed uncomfortable that left me with a bad back and neck all day and zero hot water. Checked out before breakfast because I just wanted to leave. The evening meal the night before was lovely except the sugar on my creme brulle was a little too done.

We were in the area for a wedding and booked the hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful in the most amazing setting. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Made our stay wonderful. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back

Quintessentially English and slightly faded charm. In a really small Norfolk village, slightly cut off. Peaceful. Food excellent. Could do with some updating of bathroom. Very clean everywhere. A perfect place to recharge the batteries. I will be back… maybe take my bicycle next time.. fabulous part of Norfolk for cycling.

I only stayed for one night, but was made welcome from the start, room was clean and tidy with everything I needed. Food was really good and the staff were friendly.

Lovely location. We were given a room in the courtyard, nicely decorated with simple furnishings. Tea,coffee and milk provided but no bottled water, which would usually be expected. The bathroom was adequate but the shower grouting was a bit grim.
Food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service, the beer garden was lovely.

Lovely pub and hotel.
Had to book early if you wanted a meal. Food though exceptional.
Having to decide what you wanted for breakfast on Sunday the night before was a bit of a pain and breakfast being served at weekends from 8.30 was too late for me as i was working. And had to go without.
I will though definately be staying here again.

Very comfortable stay. Only one criticism - the ground floor annex is directly overlooked by kitchen staff having a smoke around the back, so there is no privacy.

Husband had the steak and he said it was very good. The full english breakfast was very good. Only issue was finding a plug socket near a mirror so i could straighten my hair. Staff were lovely and i would stay there again.

The walls were very thin, meaning that we could hear everything from next door including the TV, conservations and snoring. The wiFi signal was weak in the room.

Nice 4 star accomodation with friendly staff and owners, ideal for visiting Oxburgh Hall and Gardens just minutes away on foot. Lovely food served here too.

Check in was ok.shownto room 8 which we have stayed in before. Glad to find some issues that we highlighted last visit were resolved but toilet seat still faulty. Wont stay up.
Sat outside for a drink . Wines lovely.
We went inside to eat. Food was delicious.
We sat back outside after that and were enjoying relaxing when the man who checked us in asked us if we would mind moving as people who had arrived preferred to sit where we were sitting !
We were that taken aback we obliged.
We spoke to one of the other staff about this as we were a bit miffed and she kindly said we would not be charged for breakfast.

Beautiful location. Impressed from the get go.Gorgeous outside areas Smooth friendly check in shown to number 5 which is an outbuildingRoom bright and clean. Although my taste isnt chabby chique room waa tastefully furnished. We had our dinner there.Food and drinks really nice and reasonably priced.Did not sleep so well as bed was 2 singles pushed together and there was an uncomfortable gap in the middle .Shower pressure was very poor which was disappointing. Breakfast was delicious and nice and hot.Cuppa was just right tooCheck out was quick Would stay again for sure

Excellent clean accommodation, ideal for an overnight stay. We stayed in one of the annex rooms adjacent to the hotel. The manager fitted us in to the busy restaurant even though we hadn’t booked and the food was really good. Breakfast also good.
