Just an over night stay..with the family..

Air conditioning barely worked, the room was very hot. Room had so many ants everywhere we actually didn’t stay the whole time and left. Shower was so small we had to bend down to shower. There was random stains on the floor, and bedspreads. It smelled like pot, and it was so ghetto! Never again!

The location was great you are very close to the boardwalk/beach. The beds were comfortable and they provided you towels but no housekeeping services if you stayed less than two nights. The outdoor pool was clean. Some downside stuff, the kitchenette area had tiny sugar ants, I had to spray them with my bug spray. They were in the bathroom too, but not a lot. When I open the refrigerator cooler it smelled like surf and turf. Probably from the previous tenants dinners. The toilet bowl ran continuously we did try to adjust it but it wouldn’t stop. The bathroom window did not have a screen and we were on the first floor. Screens are needed to keep bugs out. The first night we were there there was an unruly guest two doors down sitting outside being very loud, talking loud and non stop, no one was arguing but it was 12 AM and It went on for quite a while. If you do go there, try to get the third floor you won’t have to hear the people walking above you at night, ha ha. I did let management know when they were very understanding.

Could not turn hot water off in shower

The parking sucks for this hotel they have 2 hotels your allowed to park in there was parking in neither for parking lot there’s no way all those cars are for 1 car per room- I never saw the housekeeping person to give us more towels other than that only good thing about this place was it was right down the street from the boardwalk

We have stayed here before and had a nice time. Not this time though. Off to a bad start as we had a mix up with room type and settled for something we did not want as there is a NO REFUND policy. You have to check in and out at at their other motel which is approx. one block away. There is no housekeeping staff anywhere to be found. We actually arrived and scrubbed the room down. Luckily we has supplies with us. If you want new bedding, towels, and essentials (including ice) you had to walk back to the other property. We will not return here next vacation. The checkin person was very unpleasant as well.

This place was absolutely filthy! I've been going to Wildwood for almost 50 years, this place was one of the worst as far as being filthy and dirty. You don't have to worry about leaving a tip for the housekeeping staff because there is none. Not one time was our room changed or was there any housekeeping at all seen on the premises for 4 days we were there. Huge piles of trash are left to sit for days when some random person comes and cleaned out a room after a guest leaves. There were ants in and around our room and we were on the third floor. The pool was so dirty we could not even go in it. It was filled with pieces of trash, dirt, tons of sand, hair, broken pieces of some kind of plastic or something. The pump and filter do not even work on the pool, they had a garden hose in there to try to keep the water moving around it was totally disgusting. I would never go there again, I suggest that if you don't have the extra $50 a night that you wait, & save and go somewhere else. Got suckered into going there because it was a holiday and there wasn't many other vacancies in that area. Now I know why.

I don’t typically write reviews, but unfortunately, our stay was a pretty horrible experience. We went there for Fourth of July weekend, someone broke the window upstairs, there was glass in the pool, and all over the ground which, intern the pool was closed for hours, both days we were there. Drinking and partying outside all night long, we could barely sleep. There was no parking either day they have a sister hotel up the street there wasn’t parking there either. The towels had stains on them, the pillowcases had stains on them. If you’re going here with your family or children, I would suggest you find somewhere else. This hotel is for partying.

Everything was good at the motel. No issues at all except maintenance showed up without telling us and entered our room without us being there.

Rooms were very nice and clean good stay only complaint was when attempting to check in no one was in the office, another person told me I had to go somewhere else to check in, wasn’t far at all just wish I knew beforehand.Got to the check in place door was locked knocked for 10 minutes called and they said they’ll be there took about 5 minutes. Great stay overall kitchen and cooking materials were nice and clean our doors were hard to open and close but we managed

not enough towels. used soaps.

When we got into the room, it was full of gnats flies. We saw a roach on the floor which my toddler pointed out. Cleanliness is horrible in this motel. Definitely not something I was expecting and would never recommend to any one if you expect to have a nice clean stay.

We showed up to the hotel just to find out we had to go up the street to another hotel to check in. Only to find out that i now have to call or text a number to check in after 6, due to the ceck in office being closed. The room was ok but the bathroom had an odd smell and the toilet seat was all marked up. Loved the coviemce to the boardwalk,

Sandy shores and birds of paradise are great been staying here for over 15 years I know owner he is great guy keeps these places going great year after year

I kept reading reviews of upgrades.first getting door unlocked each time was challenging.second the ac was so loud when compressor kicked in.third the kids feet were black after 10 min walking on the floor.the beds were hard. The tub had no drain cover for kids to bath need to put a plastic cup in drain to fill tub.there were marks in ceiling an room was drab..the must have had the only room that wasn't updated. The blinds were nice.the pool was clean an nice.the location was great a block to the middle of the boards.the area was quiet.was a pain when drove up we had to go back down the street to check in an get room key.the outlet plug that was in the lamp to use wasn't securely in there so if you pulled on it it came out.we got exactly the number of towels we needed for people in room plus 2 washcloths in a bag on bed when we got there no floor towel for the tile floor in the bathroom.so sad.not sure where all the upgrades were.the person next to us said it took them a minute to get her door open also.

The room was in need of repair and the other people staying at the property were very loud all night an management refused to do anything. We checked out the next day and asked for a refund for our next night but the refused say there is a NO REFUND POLICY. Staff were impolite and even rude. Stay away from this property. Expedia was little to no help

It was great overall, it was hard to understand some of the workers due to broken English. Also, very limited parking even though you have a room there at the hotel it’s like first come first serve, when every room should have a parking spot.

was close too boardwalk but ice machine was down at other motel they own and room was dirty had to go buy towels because theres were so hard and a bath matt for the slippery tub
