The hotel is beautifully designed and the beach is amazing. However, you are constantly bombarded with people trying to sell things to you which is very negates the whole relaxation aspect. The room service options are pretty limited and could be a lot better. Variety of restaurants is good, but having to make reservations to dine at the restaurants is frustrating and communication all round was not clear and needs improvement.

Great place to stay. Staff was amazing and very accommodating. We upgraded and did diamond club. It was good. The food at the resort is only subpar. The steak house was the best place we had food. Others were just really basic.

My stay and the staff was amazing. There was only thing that disappointed me. I made an attempt to get my room decorated for my anniversary. i was unable to after requesting it, and after seeing so many other room doors decorated it made me and my wife a bit disappointed.

Very nicely kept and aesthetic wise. Rooms: AC is not compatible with the room, constantly hot. Also TV keeps on glitching no matter the weather condition. Food quietly was good. Drinks in open bar can be better done when measured and not too sweet or too much ice. Also felt pressure to constantly spend at the resort other venues. Basic services like laundry are way too over priced. Had to use a local service which was a fraction of the price. The resort services are very over priced for Mexico in general. Staff and room service very on point ! Super fast and reliable. Would use this hotel chain in other countries.

Our stay at the Royalton Chic was lovely. The resort is beautiful, and the staff are incredibly friendly. We did have the diamond club package, and we did have a bit of trouble with our butler in the beginning - we were not assigned one until a few days into our trip. Once we did get assigned Cesar, our butler, our trip went much more smoothly. Cesar was attentive and helpful and always checked in on us. We also had a few issues with attentiveness on the beach diamond side pool chairs - though, we spoke to Cesar, and he was able to help us for the four days that we were having issues. We did notice, however, the bigger the tip, the more attentive the staff - which obviously, due to low national wages, this does make sense. Though, we are the type of guests to give very large, generous tips at the end of the stay based on our service. So, I don't think this type of strategy worked in our favour, as they were more likely to help us if you offered them a tip. Though, this is not about all members of staff. The staff in the cafe, restaurants, and by the main pool, were so sweet and helpful. The staff, however, that tended to you at the beach were very much tip-motivated. Which again, is fine, but obviously not for our strategy, so we understand that now for next time. Overall, we did have a great time - we were able to relax as diamond club members as well as join in on the fun and excitement of the resort. There were parties every day or night and so many great activities!

I think this resort is an average resort. The food was low to average quality. We tried various restaurants such as the excite sports bar, steak house, Vespa Italian restaurant, elements buffet, etc… and they were all a little disappointing. Not sure how mashed potato’s and bread could be poorly done but they managed to do that. Some options such as pasta and of course tacos/chips were decent. The hotel itself is generally clean - we did see a few stains on our hotel room. The ceiling seemed to be leaking in various areas in the resort. With that being said, the outside the resort is generally clean with beautiful views. The beach is quite clean with little seaweed. The service was also pretty good with most being friendly. Something to note is this hotel leans towards hip hop/rnb fans as that was all they played for the most part.

Entertainment staff was great. Restaurant and food not so much. Charging for drinks for level 18 was unexpected and should not be done at “all inclusive” resort. The hotel was kept clean.

Absolutely beautiful property. Everyone was welcoming. Walking distance to the stores. Excellent customer service. We will definitely be back.

Nice property with amazing breath taking view. Definitely a place to party. Drinks were good. Downfall the elevators took forever to come up or down. Unless you’re a Diamond member getting access to the reservation for restaurants there is nearly impossible.

I stayed as a Diamond club member. We were supposed to have a butler, which we did not see except when we first checked in. The diamond club lounge could only fit 3 guest. Every where we went they tried to charge us extra. The building had no AC except in the rooms. It smelled like mildew and water damage. Our television was not working. The activities was lame and the roof top pool was unusually unless you bought a $300 cabana. The other pools were too small for the amount of people. I was in my room undressed and a cleaner walked into my room without knocking.

This property was very clean and beautiful! However, the pool needed more daily cleaning. There was lots of trash floating around the pool (cups, french fries, breaded shrimp). Also, the food was not that great. Breakfast was good but all other options were fried foods.

The beach is amazing, staff service was great, Dulce the waitress on the beach was attentive and had engaging personality . We have stayed her before a few years ago pre-covid....food was not as good this time and the people were much wilder ... people drunk and screaming obscenities in the pool at the top of her lungs ... We are not prudes but allowing people to be that loud,drunk and vulger drops the resorts image .....also a few tiles broken by pool .....Still a great place ..just not amazing ...once a brand is tarnished very hard to recover

It is an awesome adult party hotel. It’s not Temptations. People are friendly, courteous, and ready to have a good time drinking and meeting people from all over. You can “chill” here, but really it’s more of a drinking and chilling in the pool or at the beautiful beach vibe. The nightly shows and entertainment is sufficient and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. You really don’t have to leave the hotel. The food isn’t bad and there is a plethora of options. The drink options are not top shelf, but they aren't bottom of the barrel either. I will come back here again. The room are nice and the ocean view rooms have amazing views. The music is loud but the parties stop around 12:30ish. You should be partying either at the hotel or somewhere else so that shouldn’t matter. You are in Mexico at an all inclusive adult hotel after all!!

I waited months to go on this trip only for it to be a disappointment. The food gave me a stomach bug, It seems like the staffs don’t all have the same information with when it comes to concerns about the hotel, and my door was locked and I was going to be charged for some thing I didn’t do! it all just seemed very unprofessional, to top it off when it came to me checking out I was charged an additional $27 for a checkout fee that I see nowhere on their website. I definitely don’t recommend this hotel.

Great property, staff, and service. The only improvement would be the food. The quality seemed generic for the most part. Had higher expectations for the taste but still good!

This resort will start losing customers. I stayed at this resort last year 2023 and the resort had many fun activities day and night. The restaurants were always open and allowed walk ins. Now visiting for the 2nd time I was expecting the same thing, it was a big disappointment….. majority of the restaurants were not open everyday and in order to eat u need to make a reservation in advance. If u don’t have a reservation they turn u around and let u starve. The bars also close super early. I spent all this money to not have all inclusive??? Also the resort had no fun activities or night life for it to be an adults only resort. Don’t waste ur money going here. I will not return

The food some of the resort's restaurants was terrible. The Asian, Italian and the Steak place the food was tasteless and badly prepared. I enjoyed the breakfast buffer and the Sky Restaurant was superb.
