Staff were very helpful, when we arrived 10:00 we were given our room without having to wait as in other hotel’s until 15:00 to check in. The hotel was clean and staff were very accommodating.

Never seen so many cigarette stubs at the entrance to the hotel in all my life.

Great service, rich breakfast!

We booked through Expedia for a business trip specifically to the IPM trade show. This trade show was cancelled due to COVID. This was not our fault nor our choice. We tried to change our dates several times & your representatives initially replied but never returned with an answer. We found your service unprofessional. The root of many terrible customer experiences is a company that is happy to collect money from a transaction but not to accept responsibility when things go wrong. Your reluctance to respond & sticking rigidly to policies, even when they make no sense in a given context, is a classic customer service failure. COVID has caused such grief worldwide, I find larger businesses like yourselves should be finding solutions for clients to make the experience pleasing & encouraging us to return to your platform. Instead, we were treated poorly & we have lost all of our money on the accommodation for this trip. I will ensure I advise all my business colleges, family & friends about your unprofessional service. Expedia you failed us.

Perfect location for is you visit the exhibit and still close to restaurants etc.

Already at check-in I felt most welcome in the hotel. Very professional, quick but correct and friendly. I like the interior of the rooms a lot. The green colour, the furniture, the small giveaways (water on the house, gummi bears, a bar of chocolate). I am a few times a year in Essen and will surely come back to the Atlantic Congress Hotel Essen which is by far the best in that area around Gruga and Rüttenscheid.

Everything was fine. Sad that there were only 15 guests in this hotel. But I suppose that the staff is happy to have the possibility of staying open. It was super quiet. Staff was friendly and super helpful.

Great hotel, friendly staff and cleans rooms

Great modern big rooms, comfortable bed, nice working station (with movable table), big shower, minibar and instant coffee - i had a great stay! Unfortunately due to COVID-10 gym/sauna/rooftop were closed.

The rooms are nice, but the staff and service is really bad. wrong information and missing information and an arrogant attitude! is you want a great hotel with friendly staff find a different hotel!

Very large comfortable modern rooms. Excellent restaurant with a trendy bar with friendly service. Many good restaurants are in the area.

Location: beside Gruga park and with Ubahn connection to city centre.

Very good hotel, reflected in the price. Reception staff somewhat sullen and had to wait a good ten minutes to check out in the morning. Restaurant staff friendly. Very comfortable room but the shower was disappointing.

The hotel was clean and modern, looks like it has been recently renovated. Great breakfast and good selection of foods and beers for the evening. Everything you need for a business stay. Particularly liked the fresh pancake machine for breakfast! Free WiFi, which worked well.

This is the best hotel in the Essen area. I try to stay here whenever I can. The rooms are clean and modern, and unfortunately I can’t say the same for some of the other places I had to stay at when sold out

Hotel room is definitely comfortable, modern, and clean. Love the rainforest shower and the comfortable beds. Breakfast is pricey, but very good. I always try to stay here whenever I am in Essen.
