Staff was amazing, we had to leave in the middle of the night for our flight and we asked for a to-go breakfast to have something on our stomach on the way and all team worked on getting this ready the night befire and also one staff emmber cae in the middle of the night opening the garage door for us (because the garage is very secure, would not have parked outside in this city).
All hotel is wonderful thank you very much !
Terrace on the rooftop gives also a wonderful view, I recommend !!

Beautiful hotel. It is a bit of a hike up the hill. Great staff. The rooms are well equipped with nice kitchens and there is a grill on the balcony. Beatiful views from the balcony. The bathroom was beautiful, but the entrance to the shower was narrow. I was able to squeeze in, but a larger person might not be able to get in the shower.

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff and amazing breakfast enjoyed. Only recommendation is its best to UBER to head down and back to hotel to city centre, due to feel of local area. The actual hotel has amazing views and worth the stay for the views, breakfast and comfy rooms

It is on top of a hill only 10-15 mins very steep walk to the city centre.
If you want to stay somewhere different and unique, this is the place for you.
I wish we could stay there longer.
I would highly recommend and would happily return there.

This was a very cool space - I really didn’t know what to expect as it’s the first time staying in a container hotel. We did have rain one morning, and they had suggested us to move due to leakage, but we never had any leaking from the rain at all! We got breakfast to the room as well since the rooftop was the restaurant and was wet.
The Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They spoke English too which we appreciated, since we are native English. They were all young and very down to earth. The wine in the room was very reasonably priced, and the views were spectacular!

Lovely stay in Valparaiso. Unique container concept was very cool. The layout of the room made it seem very small though. I wish the bed wasn’t placed against the wall. Loved the balcony. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Very friendly staff.

What an expérience! Écologisme and the best way to promote their wine! Only thing no TV but this allow us to enjoy their roof top more often! Great breakfast but only offered us eggs long after we started eating! I would recommend this place to all

This is a really fun place to stay. We will definitely remember our stay at the Winebox. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed incredible views of the area.

I loved the concept of reusing the shipping container to build the hotel and the fact that they seem to be very conscientious about reuse. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. The room is a container. It is much more spacious than I thought. There isn't much air circulation except for a pothole type window in the bathroom. We kept it open for air circulation but then we were able to hear all the noise in the stairwell. The room can also use a deep cleaning and good dusting. There were stains on the the sofa and etc. The staff are nice tho. It is not too bad of a place to stay for a night or 2.

We had high expectations for this hotel based on other reviews and we were very disappointed. It needs work to bring it back to how it looks in pictures. The location is bad. Nothing around and hard to get anywhere. Parking is difficult to say the least. Breakfast was the best part, it was very good. The staff was non-existent and not very nice or helpful when you could find someone. I would never stay here again, and would stay near the cerro alegre instead.

We had a wonderful time! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sunset views from the rooftop deck/bar are spectacular! We hung out up there almost every evening, had dinner/snacks, good Chilean wine and visited with the staff and other guests up there. The rooms are converted cargo containers that are comfortable and eclectic. If we get that way again sometime, we will absolutely stay there!

Winebox was one of the most unique and cool hotels I have ever stayed in. Made entirely of shipping containers, the rooms are spacious, and the views of the city and sea are amazing! And the terrace and breakfasts are amazing.

We just loved this cool and quirky hotel built out of used shipping containers and designed with bright colours. Each room is unique. The rooftop terrace is very cool too.
Great that there was a fridge, kettle, coffee maker and selection of wines in the room.
It's easy to Uber from here wherever you want to go in Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. Off street parking was an added bonus although the basement garage is rather small.

Winebox’s quirky property and very helpful staff were wonderful. The view from the hill to the harbor and all around has to be one of the best in the city. The owner hosted a delightful wine tasting. The chance to meet other guests from all over the world topped it off!

really great experience! free breakfast and free parking (but beware cuz the street is just difficult) and free welcome drink, the wine was delicious!!! our room had a lovely kitchen with everything needed, great bed and pretty clean. close to la sebastiana, we ended up just ubering everywhere cuz its so steep but really liked the view and the terrace! my only complaint would be that there is no sort of blinds without people maybe looking into the room! but overall would book again!

Very cute property with a golden view of the Valparaiso harbour. The room was comfortable and included basic amenities for a short stay. The free welcome drink was a nice treat, so was the delicious continental breakfast offered on the nice rooftop. Be ready to use Uber or a taxi to get around as there isn't anything to do around. The good news is Uber is pretty cheap and convenient. f you are spending a nigh or a weekend in Valparaiso, Winebox is a safe, convenient, and affordable place to stay.

We had a great stay here the night before getting on a cruise. They have a late checkin but let us drop of our bags very early. They recommended an excellent brunch place and a location we could sight see cheaply and effectively. In the evening we did a wine tasting at the hotel and it was very nice and informative. We also got to know some of our fellow travelers. The morning breakfast was on the roof outdoors and was excellent, but I needed sunscreen. We would absolutely recommend the place or visit again.

Very cool property and a lovely staff. The rooftop bar was great and pizza excellent as well. The neighbours played extremely loud music all night into the morning which kind of put a damper on my stay but still a very unique experience I would reccomend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were great, with an awesome view of the harbour. Breakfast that was included was tasty and filling. Wine selection was good, and you also receive welcome drinks! It is slightly out of the way from the main part of town, but walking wasn’t bad after you got used to the hills!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Winebox. Our room was enormous and had a huge balcony with an ocean view. Great place to chill and relax mid-vacation trip. Within walking distance to the art district and dining. Staff and service were topnotch. We will be back.

This hotel is EXCELLENT! The staff communicate clearly to understand your arrival time and ensure you have parking. The rooms are immaculate and include a kitchenette and access to multi-level patios with breathtaking views. The rooftop restaurant has a full breakfast in the morning that is delicious and home made pizza accompanied by excellent wine at night. Wish we could have stayed longer!!
