The Milestone is a modern seven story hotel with a wonderful bar/restaurant on the roof with great views and a good breakfast. Service is warm, friendly, and efficient. Location is great in the middle of Thamel.

Have problems with booking try to call to discuss no answer and was double charged, even though they say no pay til we get there. Had to call the bank for dispute and only get one refund back, not very happy.

We had a great stay at The Milestone. They were very accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. It's right in the heart of Thames with easy access to other areas of Kathmandu.

I only stayed there for one night. From welcoming to departure they treated me really well. The staffs over there were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommended everyone who would like to stay there. The breakfast was really good and tasty service on the other hand was wonderful. The also provided me the option to enjoy breakfast in the room as well. The location was awesome quiet and peaceful. I would love to come and stay there again. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was a great stay! Super quiet, clean and very nice. The staff were always helpful. It was in a great location, tucked out of the way from the hustle and bustle of Thamel but just a minute walk from being in the heart of it.

Rooms are clean, and housekeeping were very good.Location is great for Thamel. It's less than two minutes walk from the main road, so it's nice and quiet, yet still right next to the nightlife and action.I could relax downstairs where you can order coffee and food, or on the roof terrace, where I had an interesting view of the city and a mountain in the distance.Getting to my room with a heavy case was easy, as they have an elevator. There are a few steps leading up to to the front door, but the staff were quick to take my luggage and carry it for me.The hotel I stayed at before I arrived here was a nightmare, and it was in the same price bracket at this one. So you can imagine how pleasing it was to come to a well managed, professional, clean and comfortable hotel, especially in somewhere like Thamel! If that's what you're after then this is the place.

This hotel was perfectly adequate for what was required by myself. The room was clean, bed comfortable (although I found the pillows very hard) everything worked , hairdryer was supplied and a kettle was supplied when asked . The breakfast was yummy and plentiful with helpful friendly staff , great location in the centre of Thamel , with a bit of reconstruction work going on next door which of course is not the Hotels fault. I was a female travelling on my own in Nepal and felt safe there. A bonus was that it had an elevator which not all hotels in Kathmandu have. I would stay there again. Good value for money for a budget hotel.

Not the easiest place to find but once there it’s a great hotel. Rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Had plenty of hot water for a nice shower. Staff were very helpful and willing to do whatever was necessary to make our stay comfortable.

Staff is super friendly! It’s quite noisy. You hear doors slamming throughout the night due to the echo from the open staircase. The shower water temperature is inconsistent. The property is ok for what I paid.

We booked 2 rooms for 4 people and stayed 1 night. This hotel is in the hearth of Thamel and shopping area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We had 2 delicious dinners at this hotel.The only flaw was that preparing dinner took a long time. We enjoyed our staying. If we come to Kathmandu again, we will prefer this hotel.

The room I had was clean, modern and quiet. It is also located right in the heart of Thamel. In particular, the staff were delightful and helpful. Most certainly, the next time I visit Kathmandu this will be the hotel I stay at.

This place was so good I stayed in here twice in my trip to Kathmandu. It is the heart of thamel, the city where everything is happening. The only bad thing about this hotel is the fact it is in a corner where you cannot find it unless you use google map. The service outstanding.

In an area full of hotels,this one stands above the others because the staff is friendly and extremely helpful, premises are clean and modern, and location is quiet because its down a side street!

Hotel staff was very nice. Hotel looks new and comfortable. Rooms were small but good enough for us. Rooms stated they had bathtubs but only some rooms have them. This is why we booked this hotel. WiFi does not work on sixth floor. Quiet location in center of tourist area.

Very cozy new hotel in the heart of Thamel. Rooms with modern look are neat and tidy. I would stay here again the next time I’m in Kathmandu and recommend anyone to stay here.
