The room was pretty much a standard economy room; it had an updated interior and smelled clean. The bed was very soft, but that is kind of subjective. I prefer a firmer mattress. Overall, the room did what we asked it to do, which was to give a place to sleep for two nights. Nothing fancy, but that's okay.
As you can see from the picture, the building has a charming ocean wave shape going on, but it wasn't really noticeable from inside our room.

The location of Anchor Lodge in the Noyo Harbor is excellent with plenty of parking and walking distance to 5 restaurants and a fairly secluded beach. The sloping build style of the building was a little odd and the property is aged, however very clean and comfortable.

We loved the view from our room. We also appreciated that it was dog friendly. We have stayed before and will stay again. It can be a bit loud staying under the restaurant.

Nice place with friendly people. I've stayed there multiple times with my son for fishing expeditions. The area is full of the oldtime wharf experience!

The view was great, i could hear and see the sea lions from my balcony. Very clean, the bed was very comfortable.very happy with my stay.

The curtains on the front window need to be replaced and the internet was very slow and sometimes non existence.

The room was fine. No air conditioner though, so had to open the windows to cool it off when we got there and couldn't leave them open when we left because someone could come in through them. However, it cooled off at night so it was comfortable with them closed. The bed was quite comfortable even though it was small :) Try the Wharf restaurant, it's very good!!

We loved the seals and there noise. If you are going for quiet pick somewhere else nature is noisy here . They very kindly provided ear plugs I thought it would be for the people as the restaurant is up stairbut I really didn't hear them.

Great stop on our Vacation. Great view of Harbor. Dined at the Wharf, Awesome food.
We stayed in room 20. The bathroom light / fan switch is loose. Had to wiggle it to get it to stay on. You should get a Handyman / Electrician to look at it. Loose wiring can start fires.

The location is unmatched. It's literally over the water and we watched seals and boats in the morning! Seamless check in, we never saw anyone as we got in late and left early.
The negative is walls are paper thin and we heard everything both next to and above us.

It was clean quiet pet friendly would definitely say again a diamond in the rough . We also ate at a little restaurant Latin food and beer it was excellent ! Convenient location and the price was right

Jason was terrific in helping me check - in the room electronically, which you must do on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Which
in itself is a hassle. The nerve of the owner of the property to rent such a bad bed is inexcusable. The
building itself tilts so badly that the water in the toilet bowel is visibly
more on one side. Be aware the property is old and perhaps Expedia/Hotels.com should drop this property.

Room next door had kid running 4:30 in morning until 11pm stomping. At times we heard a dog bark.
1 cleaning lady was using her personal phone plugged into our room for a call instead of cleaning.

Was in town for Granddaughter 10th B-day, the room was very nice we had a water side room ,was clean and comfortable, thought it would be noisy from harbor boats. Or restaurant above but it was quite. Would recommend,we plan to stay there next time we are in town.

I was a little worried that there wasn’t staff on hand to check us in…etc. but it went seamlessly. The room was comfy and location was great! I was pleasantly surprised and would come again. Letting us know where to get ice was the only small hiccup.

Quaint place w/ decent price. Tucked out the way from the hustle and bustle but easily accessible to shopping etc. Rooms are clean, easy check-in/out. Beautiful scenery.

It was quirky & quaint. Loved the location. Digital check-in was ok but, didn’t see anyone. Hear soft guitar riffs from room above but never saw the source.

Clean room , comfortable bed down in the harbor. Near restaurants and small shops but no other hotels. We enjoyed the location even though it was different. Could hear the seal and see the bridge smd water from our balcony. The only problem was there was no hairdryer. That is usually a basic in all rooms

Like the walking distance to harbor, beach and restaurants. Bed was terrible to sleep on. Had to " sleep" on the hard floor. No cold water for hand sink and no clock.

This was fine for a last minute one night stay. Location was good down at NOYO Harbor where you could walk around to shop and dine. We had 2 Queens.Rooms are older, and outdated but most of Fort Bragg motels are..no A/C just a fan that wouldn’t stop oscillating lol and the bathroom shower was so small I couldn’t bend over to wash my feet. Ultimately the beds were extremely comfortable and that was the best thing about the room.

It was wonderful, we had a view of the water, the sea lions, and the ocean with a beautiful and sun set. The restaurant above had great food. All staff super friendly.
