Very near Kyoto Station, location was amazing. Cleanliness was top notch. Breakfast buffet spread was also amazing. Only comment I have would be that your clothes would smell like food after having breakfast. Hope they’d install stronger exhausts. But other than that, it was an amazing stay. Would definitely consider again when we come back.

Upon checking in, I asked for a higher floor and a room that is far from the elevator, for quietness. The tall lady at the check in counter said she gave me a quiet room on a higher floor. After getting to me room, to my surprise she gave me a low floor, near the elevator, and at the T intersection where it was very noise with people walking by and talking. I know Japanese always puts priority on their own people. But this was bad. I had to put on earplugs when I slept. The other parts of the hotel is quite satisfactory.

The hotel was convenient (close to Kyoto train station), clean & staff helpful

This hotel was wonderful. A seamless check in and check out process, free small amenities and wonderful staff. Room size was great for 2 people, no issues with 2 large suitcases. Clean room and good bathroom size & facilities. Location is great, right across from the station, makes it so easy to get around Kyoto.

Facility is good

Great hotel, very clean, 5 minutes walk to the Kyoto Station. Great breakfast, many choices, breakfast steak is very tender and tasty. Services were great, very friendly and courteous. Excellent hotel, will definitely come back in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel although the room was a little smaller than we anticipated but this not detract from a great stay overall. The service was excellent at all times and the breakfast was varied and superb. I would also highlight the close proximity to the train station which was very helpful for all of our stay

Clean, quiet, spacious,. All the amenities for warm bath were in the lobby. Washing/drying machines available. Breakfast was good, but after 6 days with same choice of food becomes too predictable.

The hotel is really really close to Kyoto station. And around 5 mins walk to AEON MALL. it’s not loud at all even though it’s close to Kyoto station.

After making the mistake of trying to book in at The Granville (above Kyoto station) we finally found our hotel across the road. The Hotel Vischio was a great choice. Facilities were excellent, and it was so quiet, despite being adjacent to the train station. There were laundry facilities(stock up on ¥100 coins, before you go to the laundry room), and the machine lock with a code, so that you don’t have to rush back to get your things. The machines wash and dry and there are also irons and ironing boards available at no extra cost. This was fortunate for us, as we were half way through our 14 day trip. If you chose to use the Onsen facilities, beside the laundry room, you could unwind while your washing was being taken care of. Win-win! We also loved that we could collect ammenities from near the check-in desk, so we stocked up on toiletries and coffee, plus hair and toothbrushes. I’ve never seen this in a hotel, so it was a huge 10/10 for us. I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. I’d give it a 10/10.

Great property walking distance to Kyoto station. We loved breakfast, staff were very attentive and food was delicious with great variety of options.

Check ins was painful and long. They kept us waiting for a few hours. We weren’t impressed with service.

This is one of our favourite hotels during our 22 days in Japan. Location is very convenient (close to train station). Love the guest lounge where you can get coffee and tea for free. We will stay at this hotel again.

Hotel was less than 5 min walking distance from Kyoto Station. Restaurants & convenience stores were around! Staff was so nice! Clean rooms!

Well located across from main train station Nice lounge facility with excellent coffee. We stayed here on 2 separate occasions. And 2nd checkin with Mrs Shirikawa was better as she was friendlier and communicate better in English. Everyone was professional just she was more smiley which puts us at ease. So special thanks to her. Also hotel has mini onsen, massage chair, laundry facility

Conveniently located inside airport. Excellent choice when you are using the rail system.

This is an extremely well kept property. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the bathroom is especially nice for Japan. The location is superb, just a short walk from Kyoto station. There is a convenience store (Family Mart) and shopping complex less than a block away. I would definitely recommend this place to any traveler.

Overall a great week stay at this property. Has a fitness center that the one in Osaka did not. Free coffee and tea in the lounge a welcome bonus

Good location and breakfast

New hotel so facilties are still in good and working condition. Lift is super fast. Slight walk from train station depending on which line you are taking. Beware if you select breakfast with kids. If you are booking a twin room, breakfast is only for 2 and you have to pay JPY1700 each per day per kid. Kid is define as 3 to 12 y/o. My 3 y/o child is not spared. Nowhere in the terms on expedia states that. on booking it just says 2 adults 2 child - full breakfast. so beware!! Staff is also very unhelpful to resolve this, very transactional and almost screwed up my courier by not confirming the date with me. Not as smiley as those in Osaka.
