The hotel is well located, very nice and confortable room !
It would have been perfect, but the weak point is the breakfast : indeed, it is a "traditional service" like a restaurant, with a menu and you have to choose among some defined items. It is too long and not convenient at all ! Especially when you are traveling for business, you can't spend such time for breakfast, other bad point it is starting only from 7h30, which is too late as well. It is a pity, because the hotel is otherwise really great

Wonderful hotel in a great location (all is within walking distance). The staff is very friendly and helpful also the ones working in the restaurant. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable. They have a great gym downstairs as well. We really enjoyed our time at the hotel and in Bilbao and would definitely stay here again should we return 😊

A beautiful hotel inside the old city. The location is very convenient. Rooms are beautiful and designed. Services are high level. The staff is kind and friendly. Rooms with the balcony overlooking the river are recommended: wonderful.

Really lovely hotel with great location and lovely decor. The bar and restaurant are excellent and the hotel is dog friendly. The bathroom was modern, had a great shower and toiletries. Good coffee machine.
A slight issue at check in was the fact the road outside was closed for a festival and we had no prior notice.

Love our stay. Right on the edge of the all pedestrian old quarter. Parking available if reserved ahead of time for only 25 euros per night. Not good for large vehicles. We struggled parking a compact. Very tight maneuvering in the garage.

We loved location and the rooms. The staff were excellent! When we couldn’t find a spot to park the staff helped us by running out to our car and directing us with ease to our reserved parking spot. Lovely lobby with special welcome cava and candies! We will be back!

I did not like the parking situation. We had to keep circling the hotel and finally one of us asked. It was very confusing as you have to go up on the sidewalk to unload the suitcases. Parking was 5 walking minutes away. Other than that our hotel room and stay were outstanding!!

The hotel is small, clean and renovated inside from an old structure. The staff is very friendly, resourceful and happy to provide recommendations. It is near the historic or old part of Bilbao. I will return the next time I visit Bilbao.

The Tayko is in a great location close to everything. The staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and they are very knowledgeable about the city. Rooms are well equipped and very well designed. The food is delicious and beautifully presented with authentic Basque flavours. Well worth the price.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location in the Casco Viejo. Every person we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. And we each got a ticket for a free glass of wine! We'll stay here every time we return to Bilbao.

This is a unique hotel, outstanding service, staff, features. Excellent location to old town and river. Room was excellent. All amenities first class. Just quality all the way. Excellent sleep. Walk to anywhere. Restaurants are everywhere. Visit the square in old town and enjoy pintxos. Would stay again.

We put Bilbao on the itinerary mostly because of the Guggenheim Museum, but after learning about the old town and some of the history, we opted to skip the huge hotels near the museum and found this gem. Great restaurants and night life right there, and it’s still an easy walk to the Guggenheim.
