Rooms are dated with need of maintenance - pool dirty (I asked twice for pool to be skimmed of significant volume of insects but no action)

The hotel was old, but clean and convenient. The staff was very helpful.

I had an excellent stay , friendly helpful staff. And an excellent central position within Vientiane

Nice hotel in the centre of Vientiane. Spacious room with a very nice bathroom and a little balcony to sit outside and watch all the street life. Staff was professional.

Overall is excellent. However the hot water system doesn’t work great. The temp of water is unstable. That is the only unpleasant experience with our stay.

Probably the nicest property that I’ve stayed in the region.

A lovely clean, comfortable hotel but let down by disappointing service: - I reported 4 easily-remedied faults with the room (safe, wash basin plug, bath plug, toilet flush) but none were addressed during my stay - There was no room service even though the literature in the room advises to simply ask at reception - There were no scales available to weigh luggage before departure to the airport. - Transfers to and from the airport and railway stations were extortionate.

Quiet area. Room is big n comfortable. Front desk helpful with booking of train ticket, taxi.

I like the wooden architecture and the art deco. Rooms are larger than usual including the bathroom. Staff are friendly and accomodating.

For its central location its remarkably quiet in the area, the only noise is occassional corridor echo and doors. Rooms are comfortable and excellent rainforest shower. Good breakfast to mostly asian but bacon and egg if that what you want. Pool area very pleasant in afternoon once shade comes. No diatace to anything.

The hotel was beautiful and so convenient to the sights and the night food market. The breakfast was great.

Great and attentive staff. Surprisingly nice given its price point. Decent breakfast and great pool area (which I didn’t use but enjoyed working at during the midday.)

The hotel is in an historic area of the city - an easy walk to most interesting sights. The hotel itself is dark and full of carved wood. The rooms are large but dreary.

It's a beautiful building in the best area to walk the riverside. It has a working lift and the rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom was a disappointment though, very uncomfortable and small compared to the room. The service was mixed, breakfast and its staff were awesome, but the desk team didn't even book train tickets for us as the hotel in Luang Prabang did. We spent two hours queuing to get the tickets and had to pay through some guy at the ticket booth because you can only pay using a local QR code app. I don't think I would stay again here.

Very nice spacious room. Shower was deluxe with strong water pressure.

It’s a good lovation with a nightly street market right outside the front door. I booked a large room, 500 sq feet, and it was great; full frig, sitting area, terrace. Modern bathroom with large tub and seperate large shower with excellent water pressure. A/C was also excellent. My booking came with breakfast which was a disappointment; no signs or labels for food, served buffet style but chaffing dishes left food cold. It’s not worth getting out of bed for. But the hotel can be recommended.

Very good hotel for the price, pool was nice but doesn’t get much direct sunlight after midday. Breakfast buffet was good and tasty but they struggled to keep things stocked during busy times. Staff were helpful with booking buses/taxis needed. Overall a pleasant stay in Vientiane.

Great hotel at central location!

My wife and I have been to Vientiane several times, but this was the best. Our junior suite was excellent. Great service.

the Lao decor everywhere especially in the rooms is beautiful. bathrooms are amazing. service with authentic Lao smiles. fantastic breakfast spreads. this place will really enhance any visit to Vientiane!!

Our room had a balcony and screen doors leading out which was a nice touch. The shower was amazing. It had a rain shower, a hand held shower head, body jets. Best hotel shower. Hot water, great pressure. We had friends staying in a different section id the hotel, and they didn't have a fancy shower or balcony, so maybe you have to upgrade to get them. The street was quiet at night. Good restaurants all around and easy to find a tuk tuk. I would stay here again. My only complaint is that the floor squeaks with every step. Makes it hard to get up and not wake your partner if you walk to the bathroom.

It was convenient location. Many restaurants close by. Staff is so nice and helpful, friendly.

The hotel is small, carved wood appointed and charming. Service is excellent. How we, before you accept your room check that you can control the temperature in your shower and/or bath because they are quite capable of offering you a room (2 in our case) that do not give you hot water control. (Sink’s are different)
