We stayed in a Superior Loft room which was very spacious and comfortable for 3-4 people. Hotel is in a great location and walkable to lots of places of interest. Close to plenty of shops, restaurants and subway but in a quiet street away from the big crowds. Cool, calm and quiet space to relax in at the end of a busy day, with very friendly service.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was as expected. The location was terrific, close to train and bus stops, and walking distance to the Nishiki Market. Staff was friendly and the price for the stay was more than fair.

Fantastic stay. Great size room for a family of 4. Super value for $$$. Close to several fantastic eateries and the market along with being near numerous shopping options. Short trip to most of the local attractions. Friendly staff. Will stay here again if travelling to Kyoto.

The hotel in general is very good. The staffs are every friendly and helpful. The location is excellent as it's walkable to shijo, sanjo and nishiki market.
We are family of 4, and we stayed in a moderately larger room. The bathroom was very nice, but this was probably the first time I stayed in a hotel that didn't have any chair to sit, as the room was a bit tight in space.
If we come to Kyoto again (which I wish we can, probably not in the summer but in the spring or fall), I will consider this hotel again.

This hotel is surprisingly huge. We got the one with high ceiling bunk bed with 4 large twin. I've been to Tokyo and Osaka hotel. There room size are not even close to this. They kept the place very clean. The location is awesome. Walking distance to all the great food and shops. Very central to all tourist attractions. The staff is super friendly. They also filled out the form and transport your luggage for you. The staff will get you a cab and walk you out when your taxi arrived. Highly recommend this place.

We really liked the large shower room and the location of the hotel was excellent. So much to do and see in this area. Very nice staff - friendly and helpful. We loved the pyjamas and toiletries that were provided. The shared kitchen was a highlight. We cooked our meals several times when we wanted a break from eating out. It would be nice some shelves or a cupboard to store personal belongings. Overall a great stay!

This is my second time staying here and I will be staying here again the next time I’m in Kyoto. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room and the property were nice and clean. The location was perfect, very close to everything.

We love this hotel!! Walkable to Sanjo shopping area, Karasuma-Oike metro station, Lawson and Fresco supermarket etc. Rooms were beautiful, quiet and clean, with a nice bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back if we visit Kyoto again!

This is probably one of the best possible locations to stay in Kyoto with easy access to everything Kyoto has to offer. The area is extremely safe and walkable at night. Rooms were a bit small but adequate and the staff was very professional and helpful. Absolutely we would stay here again.

We loved the contemporary style of this hotel and the wonderful staff. The neighbourhood is fantastic; full of interesting shops and restaurants and not overly touristy. Easy access to subway, just 10 minutes walk away.

We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 young adults. Comfort wide room with 2 twin and 2 futons was tight with 4 carry on suitcases. Loved the modern esthetic and simplicity as well as the bath products. Close to many key sights, shopping, and Nishiki market.

Great location 10mins walk from Nishiki Market and lots of shops nearby. Room was great, nice and clean. There’s a communal dining room and kitchen upstairs, we used it to give the kids breakfast from the local convenience store, and to have an Uber Eats dinner one night when it was pouring rain.

We stayed in a Moderate Large room.
Pros:
- location was fantastic. The area around the hotel had many interesting shops, restaurants and close to an grocery store. The walk to the subway station was under 10 min.
- very quiet
- had on-site laundry
- the cafe in the hotel made delicious beverages
Cons:
- no view and the room was very dark.
- no wall hooks anywhere, so couldn't hang up towels. The hotel did provide new towels daily upon request. Hangers were plentiful so hanging up coats was fine.
- parts of the white walls in the bathroom were stained
- room felt very small
- the garbage bin in the bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen.
