Great stay!

The Solano is a moderate sized Inn, off the beaten path. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating It is a 1.2 mi from Saint Clements Castle, a very quick drive back after an event. A good place to book for a group of guys or gals traveling with Portland as their destination.

Lovely spot to stay at. Quiet, Attentive staff (even during the late evenings) and affordable. Very clean and the sheets and blankets were quality! Highly recommend.

Spotless rooms. My family was traveling for a wedding, we had a total of 4 rooms. All family members said their rooms were cery nice. Beds very comfortable and sheets /blankets nice also. We would book this again. There is a breskfast resturant avross the street. Large menu. Good was tasty.

The hotel was great, I stayed for one night. Very quiet area, I had a little confusion and miscommunication from Expedia and the general manager walked me through everything and made sure I understood everything. Great customer service. The rooms are nice and spacious. Could maybe use a rug, but everything was clean.

Nice decor, very comfortable bed!

My room was very clean, fresh smelling, and beautifully decorated. My room had a very nice modern bathroom with a walk in shower. The staff were very patient and accommodating. I would highly recommend the Solano Inn and I would definitely stay here again.

Surprising, to look at location, to see the condition of the rooms and the details in renovations recently done. Very nice quality and the bed was to die for. So comfortable. Little pricey but convenient to major routes.

I was a bit nervous with some of the reviews. I found the place to be clean and was comfortable. Sheets and room were clean. For the price, it worked out perfectly. It was also very quiet

The lobby is so beautiful and welcoming. The office personnel was professional, persona, and delightful. The room was beyond expectation. Lots of storage space, big, clean, and very appealing. I highly recommend others to stay here.

The outside of the building is nothing like the inside. The room was great would stay there again for sure.

This place is not just a tourist convenience hotel/motel, it is also a long-term rooming place for less fortunate that I guess can still afford this place and aren't particular, thus the outside buildings are deceiving. Initial interiour look modern updated, BUT toilet seat loose hardware not tightened, shower rod kept falling down, shower head dribbled water, sink faucet loose, no extra towels or toilet paper (had to go to office to request), bedding clean, but bed poorly made (loose sheets barely tucked), TV turns on but good luck getting channel, Infinity remote only worked withing 4 ft of tv, most channels pixelated, other choice is Samsung+ channels, but most don't load and reception is intermittent, no mugs for coffee, no coffee filters, one provided bottle of water was previously opened, sink water was cloudy white, and you can hear everything going on in the remove above ours. Some wall looked to have had flies or bugs smashed on them. Never again, but any other local stays were two and half to three times the cost --- and local breakfasts are pricey, unless you want to travel about 20-30 minutes elsewhere. And good luck finding someone at the front desk; you will likely have to call the posted number for assistance. A MOTEL 6 would have been a better choice, but none in this area of the country/state.

When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. Called their number multiple times, took over a half hour to get someone to show up. Finally got to the room, the security lock on the door had no latch, the shower was disgusting and leaking. The bed smelled and had lots of curly hairs in it. I would never stay here again

It was close to the Castle area where I needed to be early for a meeting. Dumpster pick up at 4 Am was unexpected .

Very quiet, nice rooms, very nice property owner and front staff. Awesome bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Was easy to check in even late into the night.

There was an infestation of bugs in all corners of the ceiling of the room and a roach was on the counter of the kitchenette.

The property itself was clean and hospitable. Honestly, had the quietest night’s sleep in a long time at a motel. The area neighboring the inn was a little questionable. Nothing weird happened just kept us on alert.

I like this little spot. It is always clean- really clean! And the mountain view rooms are really pretty. They have 3 windows for viewing. The leaves were just gorgeous in Fall. The double queen with mountain view is a large room and a perfect spot to stay if visiting Wesleyan-about 10 minutes over the bridge. No frills but really clean and comfy.

Unfortunately this property didn’t meet my expectations of cute and quirky. The hotel seems to cater to people in recovery and people trying to rejoin society. The reception was vacant most of the time. The first room we were assigned did not have functioning lights, had a hole in the wall and smelled of cigarette smoke and strong cleaning solutions. When I complained we were given a much better room, however the smell of the cleaning agent was overwhelming that I needed to open a window for fresh air, thankfully the weather allowed me to do so.

When we checked in we went in room, placed our things down and found drug paraphernalia on a top shelf. We advise front desk and they moved us to another room right away. Second room was perfect but finding that was a little upsetting.
