The room was super comfortable and clean for our family. The attendants at the desk and the cleaning crew were always available and helpful. So glad we chose this little gem for our families' stay!

iThis stay was terrible. I found a cockroach in my room. The room was dirty. Some random person knocked on my door at 9:30 at night. And the people above me kept stomping at 2:30 in the morning and also at 5:30 in the morning. The photos on the website are not accurate at all. This place made me feel very unsafe.

So, i had a lovely stay at the Belmont Shore Inn. It was clean where it counts, roomy, had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Along with towels extra linings for pull out couch. Bed was comfy plenty of pillows. Decent desk, chair and wifi for remote work if needed. It has a courtyard area just out side the lower rooms. and Some review complained about parking, shower in room. I knew this when i choose the place and wasnt a issue as it was just my husband and I and we took Lyft or walked. With that said this was a budget hotel. Its an older building which gives it its charm. You can hear the room above you but nothing alarming. Its conveniently located next to Vons and its a cute wine shop. Short walk to pier, boardwalk, belmont brewery and chucks coffee shop (great breakfast but cash only). I honestly fell in love with it but i also didnt have expected anything super fancy and was pleasantly surprise what we got for the money. Id stay here again it better than most motel 6 or budget hotels iv stayed at. Thanks again for a lovely experience. I cant seem to add photo for some reason.

This was a great little hotel. We were only there for one night, but the room was really cute and comfortable. Bug bottles of lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner. One block from Belmont brewery where we had dinner and watched the sun set. I’d definitely stay there again!

The location was so convenient. Room was very spacious! My only gripe will be that you can hear all the footsteps in the upper room. So I would recommend the upstairs.

I liked the updated open floorplan/style of the unit. And, having free street parking (even though limited) fit our schedule well.

Overall it was okay. Unique room design for deluxe king size. I liked the separate toilet from sink area, but the door was outdated. The property was smaller than I thought it would be, and parking was not very good. Bed was extremely low, which might be good if you fell out of it.
Room rates was probably one of it's best attributes.

The room was huge but there was no separation between shower and the room so with our friend we had to take turns going outside for privacy to take a shower.

Nice clean room, friendly check in, looks old on the outside but remodeled and nice on the inside. Fresh smelling towels and body wash. Area has lots of homeless but very close and convenient to the beach and pier.

The room assigned to us was not what we expected. The room smell like cleaning supplies for the whole entire stay but in a bad way. AC kept turning off on our first night. We found hair in the bathroom and shower from the previous guests. We checked in early, which was nice but I would prefer to wait closer to check in time to ensure the room was properly cleaned and aired out.
We did pass another room that did look like the picture posted online so if you get assign those rooms, you will get what you see online. The area was a little sketchy filled with homeless people but you get what you paid for. It was also nice to be close to the beach.

Great value for a Long Beach hotel right next to the beach. Large clean room and spacious bathroom. Very quiet. I’m don’t like staying in hotels in general but this one worked for me. Highly recommend.

The shower was in with the bedroom so if you have any family or friends you will not be able to shower in privacy. The toilet was right in the doorway so you had to go over the toilet to close the door. When we arrived, there is a guy peeing right outside our door. We had to park on the main street. No parking was available. lots of homeless were around to make it feel very unsafe. Our neighbor was very noisy so we had no sleep. There were no phones to call the main office to ask for help on the noisy neighbor.

Overall great! Some things to note: parking very limited, bed is very soft, if you like sleeping in a fluffy soft cloud , this is for you but if you need firmness you might just have to sleep on the pull out sofa. Water pressure is horrible on room 10 which is the superior king room. It’s on second floor…not sure if pressure is better on bottom floor… otherwise… can’t beat the location and interiors! Will come back!

The owner/managers were friendly. The proximity to the beach was great. The room had everything you would need.
I could see daylight around three sides of the room door and there was no additional door lock reinforcer or lock guard. You park/access the property off an alley. After coming down to my car after the first night to find someone on the ground in the corner of the parking area, I chose not to stay my second night. I just didn’t feel safe as a solo female traveler.

It was very convenient to walk out the door and go to the Vons right behind the hotel. Plus the beach was right there also. Fantastic place

The place will bill you $20 per every hour that you ask to check in early or late on... when i arrived, two hours later (5pm) my room was not yet ready. Wouldn't they reimburse me $40?

This property was grossly misrepresented. Upon arrival the initial view left us feeling that is was not a safe location. Zero parking was available. This we could have worked around but the tiny, hot, stuffy room was beyond unsafe and unsanitary. The floor was caving in due to either dry rot or termite damage. When stepping on it a bug ran out. The baseboards were covered with mold around the entire perimeter of the room. The bathroom door couldn’t close. The bed was deeper bowed than Crater Lake. We wouldn’t set anything down let alone stay in this repulsive environment, we turned around and checked out immediately. This place needs to be closed down. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This quaint inn was super convenient to lots of restaurants and bars and the beach. The manager was very helpful and got adjoining rooms for my extended family.

I have stayed here twice and the rooms are very nice. Great location as it relates to being close to all the restaurants and bars on second street. There are, however, a lot of homeless around the hotel and that does bring down the comfort level a bit. But if you drive to wherever you are going, it is definitely a hotel I recommend

The room was clean and comfy, but for the price they could’ve included complimentary water/coffee/snacks. I think they rely a little to much on the fact they are near the ocean. They have many surrounding competitors, to be better than their competitors that could help. Considering the parking was tiny they did find us a spot on the street not their parking lots because our truck is huge and no way was fitting in the lot provided. We did have to wait for our room to be cleaned, I’m glad it was cleaned but we were there later than any checkout time. Overall for a quick stay it worked, but it wasn’t my favorite of our cross country trip!
