Shawn and Shira were exceptional hosts. The rooms are dated but very clean and big. We would definitely stay at evening shade again.

Everything was great!!! Clean rooms and very comfortable bed. Owners are very friendly. Homemade Breakfast is brought to your room every morning and an afternoon dessert.

The staff was above and beyond friendly and attentive. The suite was spotless and very comfortable and the snacks and drinks were perfect.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary here. Such a memorable time for us. Our cottage was perfect for us and we loved all the special touches and cleanliness of our room. We stayed in cottage #8 Dahlia. The food was delicious as were the afternoon snacks. We will stay when we visit this area again.

Shawn and Shira were the best host! Always with a smile on their faces and always asking how everything was going and if there was anything we needed when we saw them. The Room was very nice and cozy and had all that we needed for a great weekend stay.

Such a perfect stay! We stayed in the Magnolia Suite and were lucky enough to have the room next to us empty for our entire stay. This suite is closer to the road and is right next door to the Horseshoe Grill. But we had no issues with either of these things. Our room was very spacious and clean. Our check-in was quick and easy. Easy parking right in front of our cottage. The grounds are lovely. We walked down to the gazebo one night and sat and just enjoyed the quiet. Shawn and Shira were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the breakfasts every morning (I think the quiche was our favorite), as well as the afternoon snacks (that boston cream cake was to die for). I feel we got good value for our money and enjoyed our stay very much. When we visit Eureka Springs again without our kiddos we will definitely stay here again, and would probably pick the same suite.

We came for our 15 year anniversary. It was hands down my best stay ever! The hospitality was absolutely amazing! They met us with a smile despite our late check in. The room was clean but did not wreak of chemicals like many hotels do. They had snack and drinks in the room waiting for us as well as breakfast and an afternoon snack to be delivered to the door each day of our stay. I loved that there was a recycling bin in the room as well as a guest book where we were able to read a few other guest’s stories and a book that suggested areas to go. We are already planning our future stay. I love that Evening Shade in isn’t far from the action but it still had a secluded feel. There was even a nice gazebo with swings that relax and enjoy the beauty of Arkansas. You won’t regret staying here! It was absolutely amazing!

It was our anniversary weekend trip. Our second time at this location and once again it was an excellent stay! Room was very comfortable (probably the best bed we've had away from home). The breakfast was tasty and filling. Service was second to none! Would definitely stay again.

Room was very nice, clean and well kept. Bed was firm but comfortable. Pillows were too soft though. Jacuzzi tub was big enough for two with overlapping feet at the end. Breakfast was good. Not what i was expecting but still tasty. Grounds very quiet and well kept. Gazebo nice place to sit out. Would stay again.

Our stay was wonderful! Shane & Shira were very friendly, welcoming, and obviously wanted to make our stay perfect... which it was! Breakfast was superb! The location was near all of the attractions, yet being in a wooded area, it felt romantically secluded.

Evening Shade Inn is one unique experience that is a one in a million. If you are going to visit Eureka Springs, you must give them a try, you won't regret it.

Great owners who go above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay. Room is nice and comfortable I would recommend to anyone wanting to be out in nature and relax with great B&B service. We will be back.

Very friendly people extremely quiet will absolutely stay there again

Group of friends went for the weekend so we had 3 of the Suties here. Hosts were very freindly & accomodating.They run a nice little place that was very clean & quiet, except for all of the noise our party made! Fairly close to the Downtown shopping & Numerous restaurants.Can recommend this place to anyone you won't have any problems at the owner are very attentive.They baked goods for breakfast & desserts were exceptionally good!

Wonderful place for a quiet, romantic getaway. We were wonderfully pampered by the owners, Stan & Shira. Not only do they provide delicious breakfasts delivered straight to your door at the time you request - they also bring an afternoon sweet treat! We truly felt that they would have done anything to make our stay great. Most of the time we just wanted our privacy, which they honored. We also had a few chances to chat with Stan & Shira and found them to be warm, welcoming people. They're relatively new to Eureka Springs but have made a point to learn about the area. They offered plenty of suggestions of things to do and places to eat. The room itself was very cozy. It felt comfortable and homey, but with a special elevated touch. The hot tub was big enough for both of us, and we're not tiny people. Loved the fireplace. The property is quiet & sits next to a bar/grill which was very convenient. It is surrounded by woods in the back. There was a little back deck to enjoy, though it was pretty cold during our stay. Convenient parking right by the door to our room. There's also a trolley stop at the property so it's easy to get around town. Only downside was the very firm mattress. We prefer a very soft one, but if you like a firmer sleep it would be fine. All around a wonderful trip for a couple just needing some downtime together. We would not hesitate to return to Evening Shade! I even bought a beautiful blue handmade mug to commemorate our visit.
