It was my 3rd stay here and am always satisfied !!!

The property was not really what I expected. Scheduling a private transfer from the airport was challenging. The driver was not easily seen,held a small piece of paper up for my name. I spent 20 min on the phone back n forth with the hotel. The staff was definitely frustrated as was I, but better planning and communication should have happened. once i arrived at the hotel, the staff was nicer and helpful. My transfer back to the airport should have been at the hotels expense considering the first one. The room was fine, outdated for sure. The bed was really hard and the pillows were flat. Breakfast in the morning, i am not sure what it was. I only looked 1x and i saw cereal? But i never planned to eat it anyway. You can hear people above you in the room, but not too bad other than that the area is quiet. You do get multiple actual keys for the hotel. For a man, im not sure how they would carry in their pockets. getting into the place locking and unlocking is a bit of a hassle but you get use to it.

Lovely property right in the busy centre of the old town of Dubrovnik. All the rooms have been renovated to a very high standard, all in a different style. The hotel also has a high standard restaurant which many people appear to enjoy. Staff were all friendly and helpful, and eager to offer advice on how best to visit the city. The only disappointment was breakfast which really appeared to be an afterthought. Our friendly waiter had to run round the corner to a local bakery to buy us bread or a croissant, well short of the sort of luxurious buffet continental breakfast you would expect in a boutique hotel of this standard. I truly hope they sort this.

The staff, especially Damir the manager was so welcoming and kind to us. Couldn't recommend more highly

the rooms was great, really clean and modern, the location was excellent in walking distance of everything in Durbrovnik which is a beautiful place. The only slight down side is that the reception service is a little disorganised as the rooms are serviced by the restaurant staff who don't always seem to know how the guesthouse side of the business should run. regardless though we would still stay there again

We had an amazing time! Beautiful accommodations, great service and food, in a quiet location just off the main drag in Old Town Dubrovnik. And Damir is a phenomenal host, always focused on his guests’ experience and comfort. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Excellent location right in Old Town Dubrovnik. Excellent breakfast, either a bag lunch for early excursions or made to order on less hectic days. All the Staff are especially attentive, personable and there to assist when needed. Only 5 Hotel rooms in this hotel. Ours was fairly large with an excellent bathroom.

The rooms are clean, modern and quiet. There are steep stairs, but staff will carry your bags up and down for you. The location and is outstanding — you’re steps from everything! If you’re flying in to Dubrovnik, let the guesthouse arrange the airport transfer — they’ll meet the car at the gate to the city (the Old Town is pedestrian-only) and carry your bags from the gate to the guesthouse. Staff will make breakfast to order for you in the morning. I would definitely stay here, again!

We had from the moment we checked in to check out a wonderful experience with excellent attention to our needs. Very professional and friendly staff. Neat in every sense of the word and the Restaurant extraordinary. Location just perfect. We will definitely return and recommend the Hotel

The team Mario, Danny, Martin and David were excellent. They were very accomodating and made me as a solo female traveller feel safe. And you're in the heart of old town. My room had a beautiful terrace as well, great for drinking tea and listening to a podcast in the sunny weather. Breakfast is provided and they cater to your preffered coffee. Highly rcommended.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room and outdoor area a lovely oasis conveniently located in the old town. I definitely recommend this charming hotel to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

Guest House 44 was in a super location in the Centre of the old town on a beautiful old street and was quiet at night. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Breakfast was limited in choice but perhaps as not peak season. The room with own balcony was beautiful. Thanks

My husband and I were so happy we found this boutique hotel. Staff, restaurant and location was beyond our expectations.

This is a tough one. Really liked the hotel room and property and, of course, Dubrovnik was beautiful but the stay started and ended poorly. We arrived without directions to find the hotel. Thankfully Old Town isn’t too big and so with the half an hour of wandering around we found out where the property was. There was nobody there so we took our luggage to the restaurant and had a pizza. While we were there, we got an email from the front desk at 44 asking when we were going to arrive. When we got there, the front desk person was not in good humour and obviously very sick. My wife and i are seniors and we had a really bad experience a few years ago in France. The person who was organizing the morning breakfast was sick and the next day we both were. We had more travelling to do and eventually ended up with pneumonia. Needless to say we were alarmed when this person at 44 was handling our passports and showing us things in our room while she was not feeling well. We could hear her coughing and sneezing throughout our stay and even saw her working at the restaurant one night. I have sympathy for those who are sick and maybe have to work but why not wear a mask to protect vulnerable guests who are staying with you. Finally when we went to pay at checkout her credit card machine didn’t work and she insisted that our credit cards were the problem. After long phone calls back home we determined that the cards were fine and the machine was, in fact, the problem.

We had such a pleasant trip because this place was so relaxing. Beautiful rooms, very modern but with the old stonework. Balcony was nice, bathroom as perfect, everything was kept very clean. Breakfast was also very much appreciated esp next to the sea!

Excellent location

Our room (#3 on second floor) was extremely quiet, overlooking a courtyard rather than a street. Nice close-up view of the Serbian Orthodox Church across a small alley. It's a very small hotel so services in the lobby have limited hours; but the staff is wonderfully helpful. No vehicles are allowed inside the city wall, but it's an easy 5-miinute walk from the Pile Gate, with ramps and smooth pavements for rolling luggage. This part of the Old Town has a really nice historic feel. The room itself is spacious, very clean, and convenient.

Great place to stay within the walled old city of Dubrovnik. It is close to everything, but also amazingly quiet at night. The rooms do require you to climb some stairs, but if you don't want to climb steps, old town Dubrovnik is not the place to visit. The room was charming, spacious and very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous property! The place was in a convenient spot right inside the Old Town. Close to everything. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and greeted you whenever they saw you. The on site restaurant was excellent for dinner. The breakfast restaurant was just across the way again very good! We stayed here in August for a few days and we had an amazing stay here. There is no parking so don’t plan coming by car it is very very limited outside the Historical area!

great location, very short walk from the main pedestrian streets in dubrovnik. In the old city, access to many inns and apartments are up a steeps hills with lots of steps, 44 is level entry. (there are stairs inside the property to get to rooms). nice upscale restaurant that serves more non-typical fare. staff was very friendly. the in-room safe needs to be replaced or fixed.

Not only is this hotel is a GREAT location the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was amazing, going above and beyond to help with anything needed. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay within the old city to rent a room here.

Just beautiful - the rooms and the building are just beautiful and beautifully done. Historic but modern amenities and decor. The staff are wonderful, friendly and so so helpful with excursions and advice about the area. Would highly recommend this property! Be sure to eat at their restaurant, food and staff wonderful!

Lovely clean room in mood Flr of old town.

Centrally located in Dubrovnik old town, convenient for all shopping, restaurants and bars. Top quality fixtures and fittings throughout - cleanliness was faultless. The hospitality team were impeccably polite and made us feel extremely welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Exceptional breakfast! Highly recommended.

44 is right in the heart of Old Town and located close to everything. The property was beautifully updated and stylish while still keeping its old town charm with the stone walls. But the stand out was the service. Paula went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Wonderful place, great location, lovely room with a private terrace, super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
