Amazing, what can i say! This is a true home from home. Spotlessly clean, extremely well appointed and the staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly. The food was lovely, including the home made cake which is available 24/7. There was also a selection of local drinks to try as well. Just the best place to stay, and 50 meters from one of the best restaurants in the region.

Exceptionally friendly staff, clean and welcoming rooms, lovely breakfast and a nice option for a picnic lunch to take away. Wonderful place, highly recommend staying here.

I’m sorry that we only had 1 night at Guarda Rios. The area is peaceful, we walked the beaches, enjoyed meals in town and relaxed at our B&B. I sincerely hope we can return.

Wonderful introduction to Portugal! We had a room with a view, the hosts were very nice and I loved the homemade bread and the glass of port upon arrival. We would certainly go back.

We spent 3 nights in an ocean view room with a terrace in June. The view could not be better anywhere in Milfontes, I think. It was really the highlight of our stay. The hotel is among the cleanest I have experienced.I was very impressed. Maria is a lovely host and was always ready to help with anything we asked about. Guarda Rios is near the beaches which is a big plus for us. Our room was tastefully decorated although very small for two people plus our two suitcases. Since this was part of a longer trip for us, maybe it would be easier for travelers without much luggage.

This small guest-house/hotel provided us with a magical overnight stay. The town is well supplied with great eating places for dinner (O Pescador is recommended) and the buffet breakfast is superb. Thoughtful touches like complementary chilled water and beer in the mini fridge add to the lovely vibe. Worth it!

A small, very friendly hôtel with nice and clean rooms. There is no elevator in the hotel, but some rooms are on ground floor. Perfect breakfast for us, with eggs and everything. The rooms on first and second floors have spacious balconies and some have an excellent view over the sea. Well situated in the centre of the little town.

Guarda Rios is modern small and very nice hotel. Maria and the other staff is very kind and helpful. The brekfast did not leave anything to miss. Simply a great stay.

An wonderful stay in this beautiful little hotel. Room lovely, super comfy bed and lush bedding. The host very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in Portugal. We would love to come back. Highly recommend this place.

The property was clean and comfortable. Centrally located. Only issue was limited amount of television channels for non-Portuguese speaking guests...
