The cabin was very clean. Beautiful views and thinking about coming back in the spring for a longer stay!

This location was excellent for our day trips to Devils Tower, Spearfish Canyon, Badlands, Custer State Park, Bear Country and of course Mt Rushmore.

The property is decent but the outside grass around the cabin was unkept. Upstairs beds are complete garbage…they should be tossed out immediately. Very limited kitchen dishes, pots, and pans. Can’t imagine 6-8 people in here. The living space is pretty limited.

The entire trip was amazing to include the cabin.

Loved that it was local family owned. Right in the middle of everything. But off the beaten path. Perfect! We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean, fully equipped and comfortable! The owners are terrific in keeping in contact if there is anything necessary to know. Its a great location if you're planning on seeing a lot of the area!

Property was amazing and very clean. The family built the cabins themselves and the were very cozy and definitely made you feel like your own little home, fully equipped everything you needed as if you were cooking in your own home. Property was very peaceful and quiet.. The owners were very friendly when we interacted from getting firewood.. and a great location not to far away from all the attractions we wanted to see.. especially loved having the brochures to help find things and places to go

The trip to the Mt Rushmore area was awesome. The cabin was cute, clean and quaint. Went with another couple. Only one main bedroom downstairs. Huge loft with two beds upstairs. Both bathrooms are down. So consider your family dynamics before booking. The host was very responsive on check and a question on the heater in the bathroom. We had a great time.

The Cabins are beautifully constructed and very clean and welcoming. The location can’t be beat. Hill City is a great town for dining and shopping as well as local to many sites including Mr. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, and an easy drive to Rapid City and Deadwood. The hosts at this property are a young couple who were well organized and very helpful. It was a pleasure to stay at Freedom Ridge Cabins.

Awesome cabin, awesome location in the black hills. Very accommodating for needs related to the Sturgis Rally, parking, trailers, bikes etc.

The cabin was gorgeous and had absolutely everything! It was beautiful waking up to chipmunks on the patio and feeling so at home! Highly recommend!!

Even the property manager's cat was super friendly amd welcoming specially with the kids... want to get one now... 🙃. The only improvement and not sure that it can be done is the network connection.. you will loose wifi and phone signal while you are there. For us was a little bummer because we were counting on the wifi to make our next day plans so the advise here is to plan ahead!. Other than that was an awesome experience!!

Excellent cabin. All amenities we needed. Spotty signal but were able to connect to wi-fi near the main house. We could smell the wood and it was so amazing. Memorable experience!!! Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

This place is amazing, super clean and beautiful vew of the mountain. I will definitely come back to stay longer because it's worth it.

Perfect getaway for us on our trip to see Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. 4 adults and 4 kids fit easily, owner was very helpful when we asked.

Wow! What a beautiful place! Inside, outside, all of it WONDERFUL! Great communication with owners. Very clean and well maintained. Such a gorgeous area. Beds were comfy. The towels were plush and very nice. We have 6 kids, it’s hard to find a reasonable place to stay for our family… Plenty of space for us! Very close to many of the Black Hills attractions. Only heads up I have… be prepared to be unplugged! I overlooked that little detail. Brought my work computer along… no internet! No cell service! We quickly adjusted and enjoyed that aspect! We truly were away from it all… on VACATION! It was great!
