It was the noisiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Got zero sleep for our stay. There were tiny little bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. The room was clean enough though. The bathroom had no counter space, so no place to put your things. The staff were really friendly though and they had great coffee in the community kitchen. I thought it was expensive for what it was.

Didn't feel like a nice neighbourhood and had to park on the street as hotel parking was full. One of our rooms had broken air conditioning but otherwise it is a very nice hotel, well designed and rooms are lovely.

This is a solid option for the cost. But effectively, it’s lodging only. Limited personnel (who were good) and no amenities. Decent but not great location. The physical hotel is nicely done, but my “premium” king room was directly on Santa Monica Blvd. Save the money and take 2 queens farther off SMB. The single central coffee machine is OK, but the hotel provides only sugar - no half and half (the little H&H pods would be a big plus). Room was generally nice, but surprisingly had no outlet at the desk. A long extension cord that wrapped around a corner powered the mini-fridge, lamp and my laptop. All in all, I would stay here again with adjusted expectations.

I wouldn’t stay again because the air conditioning was really loud and the toilet kept getting clogged.

It’s v noisy in the morning

The property itself is clean, quiet and in a convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The main issue I had was with laundry facilities. Coin operated but no change machine and the reception didn’t hold cash. Was told to go to the 7/11 and they gave me two quarters cause they were sick of people asking. There is an app for the laundry, but you have to have a US mobile number, which visiting from New Zealand I didn’t have. Maybe a minor issue for some, but was a let down and took up way too much time trying to sort out.

The interior design was stylish and clean. The 4-person room with bunk beds was distinctive and comfortable. The lack of a refrigerator was inconvenient.

We stayed in the room with the bunkbeds and I have to say it was very comfortable and my kids loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a great location to get to different places. Couldnt recommend this place more. Would go back for sure!

If you only need a clean and safe place to sleep this hotel is the right choice. Free parking is also a bonus.

Smelled like dogs stayed in the lobby regularly, instead of a key it's a keypad so after you gave all your info you have to type in all your info into the portal again, our keypad was broken when we arrived after midnight, the soaps in the shower had fallen off the wall before we arrived, no phones, woke up in the morning to see that our window had been open all night and who knows how long before we got there, the AC was directly above one of the beds so it hits that bed directly all night, and no drawers!

Really great staff and free parking - which is almost unheard of in Los Angeles.

The hotel was not the best the wall was dirty, the room was not ready at 3:00 pm I have to wait like 15 mins, they charge me for the parking, plus only 2 clean towels.

The lobby is nicely decorated with a lot of convenient communal seating areas. The desk in the room was very narrow with only one chair; a second would have been helpful. The hallways and room were somewhat musty smelling but pretty clean looking. The window awkwardly looked out to windows in a building across the way. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that they were out of coffee when I went into the communal kitchen to get some in the morning.

It was a great place to book

Overall, Found was fine. The room was large and clean. The TV choices are very limited. Our room was near some machinery that ran all night, but keeping the bathroom door closed help mute the sound. I am not a fan of their key-less rooms.

The hotel was nice for the area and we liked the community kitchen! We were bummed there was no pool or hot tub though.

This is a small, but not very boutique-y hotel, on a busy, but not very fancy street. I'd describe it as a decent two-star hotel, or a limited three-star hotel. My room was small-ish, with a narrow wardrobe instead of a closet, a wall AC, a somewhat dingy rug, and limited window light. But it was clean and reasonably well-appointed, and the bed and linens were comfortable and not cheap-feeling. The desk felt understaffed; but the staff members were pleasant and helpful. Self-serve garage parking was nice, but the lot was full at 11pm. Google streetview will give you a sense of the neighborhood -- basic LA strip malls and low-rise apartment block. All in all, this property is nothing to avoid, but nothing to write home about, either. A Day's Inn, but without the franchise chain vibe (for better or worse).

Saw homeless people wandering around in carts. Noisy as it is on the road that gets plenty of traffic. Has a common kitchen with refrigerator and free coffee vending machine.

Horrible parking garage cleaning service and overall

Great find. Wheather your in town for a medical vist to near by UCLA medical plaza or looking for something near a beach to just vist, this location offers both. Safe and easy free on street parking with a small free on site parking lot as well. They are undergoing renovations and my only future ask would be to please keep the hotel a great value (under $200 Sunday-Thursday before taxes and fees).

Property cleanness is good, but no dining facilities are a draw back.
