Food was bad for vip there should be more options

Really enjoyed our stay at this facility. The pools were clean, and facilities were clean. The food was okay for being all inclusive. The options seemed to repeat every other day and the food at the buffet was the same food served at the restaurants on site that required a reservation. We did book this thinking it was adults only but once we arrived we quickly found out the only the side of the resort we were on was adults only. Overall for the price and what we received and were able to do, I think it was a good stay. I would go again and recommend it to other people.

I booked this room for my BF for his bday. it looked out dated. The TV didn't work. The service lacked bad. front desk was not friendly or accommodating. The food was trash. The resort was nice tho. Won't ever book here again.

This particular property has an excellent view.if you are looking for a quiet place this is it! Food was very good but does need more variety. Entertainment needs more variety. The Staff was very friendly. The "adults only"section which I stayed does need more exclusivity for adults only and not be shareable with other part of hotel. Overall my stay was excellent really liked the hotel

Hotel Casa Marina offers a delightful stay with stunning ocean views and conveniently located bars throughout the resort. Additionally, guests can enjoy a different show every night featuring talented entertainers and great dancers. However, the dining experience leaves something to be desired. While breakfast includes a delicious serving of mangu, the only Dominican dish available, lunch and dinner options are limited to average Italian, Mexican, and seafood choices. It would be wonderful to see more of the best Dominican cuisine offered. Barley Parking & Air conditioning did not work.

I got the swim up Pool. Pool was great bar right next to pool. Only downside nothing no 24 food area.

The employees are not friendly, they do not have enough VIP attention anywhere.The employees do not want to attend, they stay in one area.

I was a little worried about traveling to sosua. This place was an oasis in a land of bad hotels.

I love the co-worker. The bartender are excellent only the area they need to change the music is to boring. But love the place i will go back

It's a 4 star beach resort for sure on the surface, but the property is seeing some neglect. The room I was in had a humid, musky, moldy odor. Housekeeping service is good but not great. They came every day and made an effort to ensure I got my room taken care of each day. Room wasn't spotless but also not filthy. I've seen rooms at more expensive higher end hotels in worse condition. Food is good and well prepared but presentation lacks. It's like your average discount all you can eat buffet with food in trays that you serve yourself. They should put a little effort to at least make it more presentable. Food won't make you sick. It's not greasy, not full of sugar, and has enough flavor. The beach itself isn't impressive. It's minuscule but pretty. Water looks nice and clean but doesn't feel welcoming. You won't come here for the beach. The depressing part is the area outside the property. It's basically a dump full of people who just want your money. From what I understand this used to be an amazing tourist destination, a beach town. It's certainly seen better days. The downfall can be attributed to a key event. Some past leadership tried to get rid of a specific type of industry that the area was known for that isn't so family friendly. This backfired and resulted in less visitors, less money, and a failing economy. Overall its a good place to relax, disconnect, forgot about life, and do nothing at all for a week so long as your don't leave to property.

Very nice hotel

Most unprofessional unfriendly staff I’ve ever encountered. I called the front desk to see about getting some basic toothpaste was told that the housekeeper would bring it over two hours later I had to go to the store and purchase it myself. Francesca receptionist was extremely short and rude. I would rather have stayed someplace else to fly to Dominican Republic to have rude people and unprofessional service. Made my trip horrible

I had no issues with the property it’s self. I feel like they can upgrade on the food they serve very bland no taste.

I had The worst experience ever in this hotel. Most of the staff served you with actitud and mad faces. The front desk too slow to help the guests and always putting excuses not to do their job right. The food was okay but they could do better. All alcohol drinks are the worse also the beer tasted like water. I had go out to buy beer and tequila for me a my family since the tequila over there is the worse. The pools needs to be painted and repaired. And the room for a deluxe reservation are too small not even a sofa in the room and very uncomfortable beds. We were four staying in one bedroom because we thought the beds were queens not full sizes. In the bathroom only two small soups one for one person only and only two bath towels. And no shampoo. I been in a lot of hotel in my life and this is the first hotel I had such bad experience. I will never going back to this hotel I hope not because it’s was terrible stays. I wanted to go but I stay because I was enjoying at least the beach and some food the were making not real good but at least okay to eat. It’s a good location but the administration and the staffs not caring enough about the maintenance and their guests. Also the time they used to clean my room was around 6pm that’s ridiculous in others hotels the clean the room earlier.

I paid for Adult side, they were letting kids in. The restaurant was horrible. It’s a lot more to type.

The STAFF made ALL the difference!

The staff’s service was excellent, the waiters/waitress were very nice and professional. The bartenders by the pool are, like Juan Davel and Sandy went above and beyond to serve us and made us fell super comfortable. I would recommend the resort, especially because of the staff service’s professionalism.

I love the staff and concierge . They were great. I felt welcomed like if I was at home.

Great location

The property was convenient for persons wishing to see Sosua and not have to deal with certain issues. But was it worth to be called VIP not so much. More like just a regular all inclusive nothing VIP about it.

Room is average at best. Noticed even the lamps were rusted. Staff is just good not great. Pools are dirty and maintained well. Local residents comes in on weekends and cleans out the buffet and you’re left not having very little choices, local are inconsiderate and will push you out of the way. Beach is probably highlight, secluded by the reefs on both sides but local kids and families will find their way in but not discouraged by security.
