Room appeared clean, bed were pretty good but the live roaches and stained towels were too much.

I have stayed here 7 times already this year, you can’t beat that the beach public access is literally 5 mins down the road not even that. Restaurants are right across the bridge along with stores for other things. People are nice for the most part around there, you can tell that it’s a different setting from Georgia. Safe area fs, Perfect place for someone who doesn’t like crowded places or beaches. Carrabelle overall is great!

Do yourself a favor and do not even think about staying here. It is non refundable for a reason. After being in the room for about an hour trying to get it to cool down because it was like a furnace and the ac kept shutting off we decided to lay down. The sheets had all kinds of yellow stains so I decided to throw my beach towels over top the bed and make it thru the night because again it was non refundable and we had been driving for hours it was now after 10 pm and we had a super early fishing trip leaving at 4 am. After just a few minutes of laying down we notice spider webs in the corners of the room, there is a toilet paper roll stuck under the ac unit to apparently hold it up and there is toilet paper stuck in the fire sprinkler in the roof. Then, we immediately both had bed bugs crawling on us. We immediately get up and are like no we are not staying here another minute we will sleep in the truck I grab my bag and there is literally a bed bug on my bag strap. We go the the front desk and explain where Jay offers us another room and we were like absolutely not staying with bed bugs and filth. Jay refuses any refund from both myself and Expedia. Expedia should not allow this person to list on Expedia knowing the conditions of this hotel and absolutely should require them to refund when conditions are unsafe and unsanitary to stay here. So beware of this property and Expedia because they will not stand behind you. We found a room at moorings marina it was $300 but clean

Rooms were fine for a one night stay. Staff was friendly. Pricing decent for distance to St George Island.

Absolutely amazing and cozy little space. My only complaint was there wasn’t a rack or anything to set my hygiene products on while in the shower, but that’s not really a complaint. Staff was super friendly, the room was nice, and they even had the AC on for me in my room when I got there. 10/10 recommend. Will be back.

Pets allowed always been a I been coming here for almost 3 years now with my dog. Beach is literally like a 5 minute drive you can’t beat that. Place in the inside is nice & it’s quiet at night around. Restaurants are right across the bridge also.

1st room did not have a working tv but staff immediately addressed and gave me a new room. Second room had not been cleaned at all since previous occupants left. Dirty sheets were still on the unmade bed, trash, etc... Third room had another tv issue. I tried to resolve by doing the obvious things but eventually got help and was told (after furniture was moved to resolve) that I did not have the tv plugged in correctly. Next time I book a hotel I'll be sure to ask if the paying customers must properly hook up electronics after they check in. Lastly, roaches. Very many small roaches. I booked a non refundable room for 2 nights and left after night 1 with no refund. I've stayed at this hotel a few other times and understand it is not a 5 star resort but it's gone downhill fast and I won't be staying again.

We had a good stay. Staff is very friendly. We accidentally took the room remote and they were very understanding and was appreciative that we sent it back. The hotel is pet friendly which worked well for us. I would suggest better water pressure in the shower and maybe an extra blanket for the bed.

The beds were not comfortable for any of the 4 of us that stayed. Service was wonderful, helpful and courteous.

Perfect for my needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Was nice having a mini fridge. My dog and I had a nice stay here when I wasn't out fishing.

We stayed here for a wedding on St George Island we booked last minute. Overall it was a good stay. We were only there to sleep and shower. We spent most of our time on the island. Beds were okay, not real comfortable but it was okay. Clean! I would recommend

Mrs/Mr Happy customers! 😁 We stayed at the hotel on April 16th, just for one night, and the room was clean except for the coffee maker, which was dirty. I forgot to inform the front desk; I was in a rush with too many things on my mind. Anyway, it’s close to restaurants and coffee shops near St. George Island and Appalachicola town, which made our day so much fun. The front desk guy, named JD, is friendly and gives information about places to visit or eat

Check in was very quick. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and updated. This is a pretty basic property that has been taken care of. I'd certainly stay here again.

Easy in and out , room was clean. Needs shelf in shower for soap and shampoo. Tv remote did not work good and need Channel list.

Great, friendly staff. Points for having a sheer cutain so the light gets in without loss of privacy. Comfy bwds and pillows. No soap dish, no place to keep anything in the shower, no lid on the flush.

Low water pressure.

The room was not very clean. There were spots in the bed fitted and they don't change it. The floor was not map, you can now it when you walk without shoes.

Bathroom is always dirty housekeeping does not check behind their selves. And they have smells of food and there’s no kitchen. The coffee maker is never cleaned. The refrigerator does not stay cool or freezes and linens are never fresh nor are the towels.

It is a great place to stay along the coast. There’s a public beach a mile away and St George Island 30 minutes away.

Perfect for being close to restaurants & events.
