They don't have beach access in the resort, we need to take a shuttle to go beach which was inconvenient.

Lovely hotel, we enjoyed our stay! Only downfall is the amount of people in the breakfast room, not controlled and pushing to get things, just felt a bit out of sorts. Staff also couldn’t understand when we requested the Breakfast by the Sea option listed on their welcome leaflet, so we did not partake in this paid extra activity.

Loved the stay here with family & had a great time, every corner has been designed very thoughtfully & had a great time here.

Awesome staff very good

Top quality rooms and lobby but not a lot of choice of restaurants and almost no where to walk to which we missed especially in the morning. The pools at horizon were a little soleless so we used heritage which is part of sane complex. Make sure you ask fir a room without a connecting door, we did have noise from next door.

The service at the hotel is excellent and it’s also accessible to the beach. However there are a few things you must be aware of before booking: 1) it’s a convention center. During our stay there was a wedding hosted at the hotel every day and it can create an imposition of common spaces such as pool area (where reception is held, restaurant etc). 2) This is a Taj property but not a Taj palace property. So don’t expect the same level of luxury. That said, when the hotel management learned about our concerns regarding crowds they did everything they could to ensure to compensate us and ensure our stay was pleasant. In the end, we were delighted with the service and experience. The house keeping staff are EXTRAORDINARY. I would mention Mintu, Rohingya, Aart, and Manisha in particular. Same is true for all restaurant staff, pool staff, as well as managers: Rangan & Chitragupt who were EXCEPTIONAL in their care for us.

Great experience. A Taj feel

Definitely not a 5-star experience! The service staff was certainly not 5-star quality; they seemed overwhelmed, chaotic, and non-attentive, even rude at times. We had to ask/remind them several times to get food/coffee. Some waiters even completely ignored me. The same issue occurred at the pool – a waiter promised to take our order but never did. We had to chase after him. Room service was acceptable. But the worst part was that we got food poisoning on our last evening! We ate at their restaurant, no outside food, and both my partner and I fell very ill. They apologized and promised to check the kitchen, but that didn’t help us. They took the in-room dining off our bill, but $150 can’t compensate for our health and the four days we lost.

'Tajness' was sorely missing at Taj Cida-de-Goa Horizon. We are quite accustomed to great Taj quality, hospitality and service of staff over years, and Goa Taj was a sorry exception. Food was avearge, restaurant staff was, well, ...unattached and carefree...to put it mildly. They understand that you are there for leisure, and they partake their own share of leisure while serving you. In our 5-day-4-night stay, 5 times the cutlery was dirty - it had remnants from the food last eaten stuck to it, when it was presented before us for dining. When we pointed out that it is happening far too often, the curt response was, "I am anyways changing it na!" We were supposed to feel apologetic for pointing out such 'trivia' and disturbing the serving staff. Wow! This casual approach was visible nearly everywhere- in room cleaning, definitely in dining and with even more with the pool staff. The only person to show earnestness was the person who collected the payments on final day, and the driver who dropped us off to the airport. It is sad to observe one of our favourite brands - the one whom we assumed to be a mark of good quality always - coming down to this average level. One tip for those still reading: Taj Cida-de-Goa has two properties: Heritage and Horizon. Horizon is new and better kept, Heritage is renovated and much older. However, heritage has a private beach just adjacent to your rooms while a shuttle is needed for Horizon guests to reach the beach. Choose accordingly

Leave it to Taj to make your stay memorable. Incredible property with great ocean facing rooms, infinity pool and incredible hospitality. The breakfast buffet was indulgence at its best

This was truly a five star experience. Staff was good all around. Their inaugural Diwali Tea and Snack on the rooftop was a big success.

The spa services and staff are PHENOMENAL! Breakfast and restaurants are good. The staff is helpful and hospitable. Pools and recreational areas are beautiful and peaceful!

Great place, since Taj and Ciudade share the properties you have a lot of options for Food , pool etc. They provide cab service between the two places. We ate at the restaurant at Ciudade cause it was less crowded then Taj itself. I would stay here again, they have kids playarea. pool etc.

Very clean and great staff. It’s a bit noisy with the live music and had trouble at times to find a quiet spot to host casual meetings. Only the bar deep inside is where you can find quiet.

We loved the location of the property which overlooks the sea. The highlight is definitely the terrace pool which gives an amazing view of the sea. The in-house restaurant bld serves great food and their breakfast buffet was mouth watering. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay and provided sightseeing recommendations. Overall, we loved our stay here and would definitely come back again!
