It was a cute little place, centrally located in the city. Front desk people were fine, however, we didn’t have any contact with staff other than check-in and check-out. The room was clean, but stairway up to loft bed was slippery and had glass railing, so treacherous when needing the restroom down below in the middle of the night. Also, the bed was in need of replacement as is sagged on one side. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

A lovely family run hotel in the centre of Malaga. We've had problems with noise when staying in the some of the older central properties in Malaga but our room (duplex) was incredibly quiet. The breakfast was served to your table and was one of the best that I have had. A great variety and well suited to my vegetarian husband. Would definitely stay again.

I don't like when you don't have a window to look out of and see the weather. It's also a lot if work outside the hotel.

I was very happy with this boutique hotel. The staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating and the Persian food was AWESOME. The location is perfectly located. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Not a 4 star hotel. Check in is late, at 3pm and early at 11am. We arrived at noon and the front desk informed us there were two rooms available for check in now but my Duplex room was basic and this one was nicer so we would need to pay €80 more. We said no and he continued to push for us to see the room because it was just €80 more. We left our stuff, and when we came back later we were told the duplex room with a king bed was only for one person. So, we owed another €30 for the second person. Annoying again. Room was smelly, didn’t have toilet paper when we arrived, NO comforter on the bed, just one thin sheet. No tea/coffee. Basic for sure.. Then at check out no one was at the counter. After waiting a while we finally just left the key and walked out

Unique rooms, big beds.

Lovely unique room in excellent location. Unfortunately there were roadworks outside at the time of our stay but this had no negative impact on our stay. The work quit early so no noise.

Service is lacking. Failed to change our bed sheets when they were dirty with sand on them. And the next day, lack of toilet paper…the lobby is very small inside a restaurant and the lady wrote the hotel information on a very small card it is was not readable…rooms are very small and on two floors with no view. Otherwise location of hotel is excellent.

The location was great for walking to the shops and the cathedral and that's about all this place had going for it. If you need amenities (think soap, shampoo, conditioner, water in the room/available, etc.) this is not the place for you.

The staff was very accommodating and understanding when we had some check-in issues but they were easily resolved. The room was immaculate and cozy, we had the jacuzzi room and let me tell you... that came in handy after a long day and evening walking around the city and Alcazaba! Tons of amazing restaurants right outside the door not to mention the awesome breakfast at the hotel.

Set in a great location this is a hotel with spacious rooms & very friendly & helpful staff. We'd stay here again.

This hotel is a little gem right in Malaga's historic center, converted from an old courtyarded house. What made our stay was the extraordinary care and friendliness of the owner Nd all his staff - highly recommended.

The only issue I have is that they photocopied my passport without telling me what they are going to do with the copy when I leave. I will broach this at checkout.

A room that had a huge bed and bath-tub. No chair, no small table and limited place to store bag etc. A lot of dust(balls) on the floor when I entered the room but in general well cleaned. No special products in the bathroom which would have been nice for a design/boutique hotel. Location is nice, close to shops and restaurants and museums. Breakfast start 8.30 which is a bit late. Bert friendly staff. It was value for money but not as good as I thought. A average experience.

We booked based on location in the Historic Center of Malaga - were very impressed by everything about this hotel. First location: walk two blocks - you're at the Roman Theatre & Alcazaba. One block to Picasso's birthplace. The Cathedral & many great cafes, tapas bars, restaurants within 5-10 minutes. Famous central market just beyond. Thru the tunnel to the Marina or up the ramp walkway to the Castle. It is genuinely a boutique hotel: every detail is beautifully done from the room & bath fittings, bedding towels, furnishings. Loved the slipper-shaowd tub! True sense of luxury. We were given a choice of a regular room or one of the top floor loft rooms, took the loft and loved the separation of entry sitting hall, closet & bathroom downstairs with a big bed & TV upstairs. Note: one of us is 6'3" took the side near the stairs, the other is 5'4" and was OK with the side under the slant. Breakfast for €6 was really good coffee how you prefer, fresh squeezed OJ, eggs to order, toast. and in a pretty room with the most beautifully designed tables. Staff were all friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Def would be more first choice on a return trip.

We stayed there for 3 nights over New Years Eve. The beds are huge and very comfortable. Big clean rooms with old parts restored to keep the history and charme and a fantastic bathroom. Excellent and wonderful service and hospitality. (btw... the owner has Iranian roots, so no wonder why you will enjoy great Iranian hospitality!) The breakfast is made freshly on order with fresh fruit and all you need for a good start. Just a minor point, I would love to have some bathrobes and slippers, because there is a huge bathtub in the room, love it! Overall a hotel with nice taste and very short walking distances to the most in the old town. Good choice of restaurants around the corner. My choice for the next visits to come!

Fantastic hotel with history and great hospitality! THE hotel for the next stays in Malaga for sure! Perfect situated to all shops, exhibitions and restaurants in just a few hundreds of meters. Very clean and spacious and fantastic service! Hospitality par excelence!
