The hotel was dirty looked like they didn’t even vacuum or cleaned the bathrooms I found gum and gum wrappers in room around the night stand and in it.

A good location is essential for a positive university experience and this hotel certainly has that. The on-site breakfast is also a great convenience for students. However, the overall condition of the hotel leaves something to be desired. The rooms could definitely use some updating to improve the overall experience for guests.

This hotel had a very nice breakfast buffet. The entrance is welcoming as was the staff. The room, however, was not as clean as others. Mostly the bathroom in the room was not clean, the bed was fine.

Checked out early and was told by front desk manager no additional charges would be made. Once home , credit card statement showed I was charged for more than one night. They won’t refund. I was ripped off and lied to.

Room was very dusty and unbelievably damp smelling. There was no excuse. The workers were super amazing and very courteous. Maybe try hardwood floors instead of carpeting.

Room had strong humid odor, I had to ask twice for simple things like shampoo and soap. Water fountain didn’t work and today the coffee was horrible. Breakfast otherwise was ok.

The customer service by both desk agents was excellent. They were very nice, friendly and extremely helpful.

Travelocity will not assist you when the Best Western Surestay in Tuscaloosa gives you a room woth a cracked window and full access to the outside and then tells you they have no other room for you. If you leave they will charge the full trip itinerary to your credit card even though they were unable to provide a room. It is stealing. Travelocity will say there is nothing they can do to help because it is up to the property to reimburse for uninhabitable rooms. If they do not, Travelocity will and cannot help you with a claim or dispute. They only provide the company with another scapegoat. Stealing.

When we opened the door to the room, a bug ran across the floor. And the bed sheets were discolored and stained with small red spots. The room also smelled like smoke and mildew.

Absolutely the worst kept place we've ever been. Room smelled like smoke. Vending machine didnt work, water fountain didn't work, sheets were dingy, towels were stained. Pictures on the website were taken at the best possible angles. We couldnt wait to leave. Disgusting!!!

The only good thing I can say about this property is that the staff was kind. However, that can’t redeem the bad experiences. I was traveling with my dog and had reserved a suite. I had attempted to call the hotel several times before I left and could never get through. That should have been a red flag right there but previous reviews were positive. Because I was traveling with a pet, they had to downgrade me to a regular double bed room that was “pet friendly”. The room looked okay but smelled moist and upon further inspection, the base boards were damaged and there was a sizable gap in the entry door. The door was very loose in the frame which made me nervous but again, previous reviews were positive and the door did lock. The bathroom had some issues. My tub didn’t drain properly so us three sharing the room had to stand in the previous person’s dirty water when showering. The shower walls were sprinkled with pubic hairs, which is gross. And to top off the bathroom, the curtain had been yanked on at some point so the sides never closed resulting in wet toilet paper because the roll was close to the shower. But the worst part at around midnight on the last night of our stay was when someone tried gaining access to my room. With the gap in the door and this person’s constant yanking and shoving, I was ready to call the cops. I called the front desk first and they had given another family my room number. Needless to say, I did not sleep that night.

I loved how nice it was and the lady at the desk was really sweet to me and everyone else.

We just had an overnight trip we needed somewhere to stay during our 17 hour drive. We paid $85 and it was what you would expect for $85. Clean towels, clean sheets. The room had a put up odor but once I sprayed the disinfectant on the bed and all of the areas we could touch it was fine. Also please be aware that there is a $50 additional charge but it is refunded to you once you leave.

I always clean my room before bringing in my belongings. I had very little to do for this stay. The bed was comfortable, air conditioner worked well, slightly noisy for day sleepers, but quiet at night. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired but the staff more than makes up for it. Would definitely stay again. Felt safe with interior entrance.

Close and convenient to shopping and UA. Quiet and affordable.

The customer Service was the best part about staying here. The rooms were not very clean. It seems like I had a cheap remodel which looks nice on the surface but when staying there quickly realize it was not in the best condition.

Bed linen was filthy. Huey promised to replace the linen with new linen (that I don't think they had) then got extremely upset when I asked for the receipt for my stay (I had two separate reservations). He told me he did not have to provide me with a receipt (after he charged my sister's credit card and my card, NOT the credit card hold; and then told us to leave the property! He also threatened to call the authorities. At that point we didn't feel safe staying here. We left because it was Mother's day weekend and we were determined not to have our trip ruined. We found another hotel with much better accommodations

Right off the highway. Decent parking lot. Adjacent to Cracker Barrel. Check-in was unbearably slow. Room away from road, so it was mostly quiet. Room smelled musty. Bathroom seemed more updated than was sleeping room. Room door closed very poorly; large gap at door bottom allowed hall noise into room. Poor-quality toilet paper and poorer, single-ply kleenex always lose my favor. Very nice & large, modern Samsung flatscreen. Very comfortable king bed.

We had bed bugs along with other people in other rooms and they wouldn’t cancel our second night or refund us because we used Expredia.
