This place was a great base if you're looking to be out and about in the area. It's a pretty straightforward motel, no bells and whistles, but the room interior was very clean, recently spruced up, and comfortable. It was foggy while we were there, but there's a pleasant area and dock to sit and watch the lake during downtime. I also appreciate that the Three Branches bakery and cafe is a short walk away and open at 7am in season, so grabbing a quick bite before heading out for the day was incredibly easy. We will very likely stay here again.

The sign to the inn has the wrong name on it. The mattress is ancient and rock hard.

We arrived around 3pm and everything was locked up. Found a sign on the office door saying to pick up the room key at the gas station next door. There was no one there the whole evening or the next morning. So returned the key to the gas station. There was no phone number if there was an issue and with everything locked up, we couldnt even get ice. At first we didnt know what to do. If there was an emergency or something then an email or text - some kind of "heads up" should have been the way to go. Also, everything in the room was old including the spring matresses. $200 per night was way overpriced for the experience. The only good part of the stay was the beautiful lake.

Very nice and quiet place

We had a very enjoyable weekend stay. The staff was very welcoming, the room and area were very clean and comfortable, the view was beautiful!
