This home is perfect for a large family with young kids. We enjoy the back yard with a secure gate, the spacious house, clean rooms and all equiped kitchen. It's a nice place!

Cris is an awesome host. I have stayed at her home several times and love it like it’s my own. The kitchen is great, the house is warm and comfortable (and very roomy). I love being there and can’t wait to go back.

beautiful scenery

A few of my friends and I stayed at this home for a weekend and had a great time. The local public beach was nice as it was free to swim and launch kayaks or canoes and it was far from crowded. Other than that, we had fun nights having fires in the fire pit and enjoying the view. I reccomend this house for anyone looking to gather with family or friends.

This was a nice quiet and peaceful place to stay... if your looking to get away from the city it’s highly recommended. The house is beautiful with plenty of space for everyone.

Home is spacious. All seven of us had a bed. Dinner on the deck and then hanging out at the fire. They have everything you could need: close to town: Great stay

Cris is an awesome host and the house is fantastic. We can ride to the snowmobile trails from the house. It is warm and roomy and well stocked. The heated mud room is the bomb! Cannot recommend this host and home enough.

House was clean, well equipped, spacious and close to town. Perfect accommodation for families or groups.

The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. We had four adults and seven kids between two families, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We didn’t go out in the town at all, except for a couple of quick runs to the grocery store for a few basic things. We enjoyed cooking and eating meals together. The kitchen accommodated all of us without feeling cramped or in the way. Everyone had their own space in the house. The kids enjoyed running around and playing in the big back yard - especially with the couple inches of snow on the ground. When they were sufficiently cold from being outside, they were able to watch movies and play games in the large upstairs room. The living room always had a couple people in it at any given time either relaxing on the comfortable sofa, playing games, or using the TV. The adults spent most of the weekend in the kitchen either playing board games at the table, cooking, or cleaning up after eating - 11 people is a lot! We thought we would need the wood stove as it was very cold while we were there, but the house ran very warm and we had difficulty regulating the heat. Verizon wireless does not work in the area. Our phones said “No service” all weekend. We had one phone on AT&T with full service and there is a land line for local calls if needed. The WiFi worked well and supported all the tablets and phones that we had with us. Cristin was very responsive to all my emails and questions and was very helpful with all her answers. All in all, it was a great time and we’re already talking about plans for next year.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is comfortable and there were plenty of space for everyone. The house is at 25 minutes drive from Burke Mountain. Dominique.

Very nice home with everything you could need.

My fiancé and I came last year with another couple of friends and had such a great time that we came back with a bigger group this year and had an even better time! There was plenty of space to fit us all and the house really does have all the comforts of home without having to actually lug all of your stuff around with you. While here we visited some great restaurants and breweries in addition to kayaking at the state park and trying to spot some moose in the nearby nature reserve. The house is great just to relax, but also close enough to plenty of attractions to fill your time if needed. Thanks for another wonderful long weekend!

Two of us stayed in this house and it was perfect for us, but it has enough bedrooms and beds to accommodate more. The heated mud room was awesome (especially because we were there for snowmobiling). The kitchen is large, easy to work in and very well stocked. The living room was comfy (and warm on cold winter nights) and it includes a TV with cable. The location is very quiet and it's so convenient to town. Cristin sent us a video of how to easily access the VAST trails right from the house, it was perfect. We hated to leave! Cristin is a fantastic host and was always accessible for any questions. We highly recommend this home!

It was just a relaxing much needed getaway. I also proposed. The area was so beautiful it wasn’t hard to set a romantic mood at all!

THIS PLACE WAS PERFECT IN SO MANY WAYS. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ANY FAMILY. BIG YARD AND PROXIMITY TO TOWN. IF YOU ARE AN OUTDOORSMAN OR OUTDOORSWOMAN.... PUBLIC LANDS AND TRAILS ARE A HOP SKIP AND JUMP AWAY. THE KITCHEN AT THIS HOUSE WAS OPEN AND CONVENIENT. THE OWNERS WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND KEPT IN TOUCH. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE AND ALREADY BOOKED NEXT SEASON!

We had such a great time at Cristin’s Home in VT! There were only four of us, but her Home has PLENTY of room for more guests. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. - everything we would have needed - as if we were home. The yard was also great, we relaxed by the fire pit, walked around the woods, and had plenty of room for yard games that we brought along. Our first night was much cooler than expected, but there were plenty of blankets to go around. The house is also close enough to town that we were able to pop in to the market if we needed any last minute items or wanted to grab food outside of the house. We went Labor Day weekend and there ended up being a concert, an open market, and fireworks in town that weekend that gave us a reason to leave the house if we wanted (not that we did!). It’s also close to Derby if you’re looking for more variety in restaurants or just looking for a relaxing drive around some beautiful lakes and farmland. All in all our stay was everything we were looking for to get away from home without leaving its comforts. Thank you so much!
