Was looking for a Motel that would offer early check in. The manager at Fireplace Inn was Great. He was so accommodating . After a phone call, he told me our room would be ready by1:00PM. We arrived at 12:45PM. Our room was ready just like he said. Thank You Fireplace Inn for this. We had a wedding to go to and needed to get dressed. Like I said above, the manager was great, So easy to work with and esopeciallly friendy. Would stay here again..

When checking in we got keys to a room and when we opened the room we saw it was already taken with someone else’s things in there, this is absolutely not okay from a safety point of view that the staff doesn’t know what rooms are taken and not. They seemed surprised by the information that the room was taken, but we got another room. Also our keys stopped working the second day so we had to ask them to activate them again, and luckily for us we didn’t come late that day so they were still at the office. So it seems like they have no order in their booking systems at all. The room only had one set of towels even though we were three guests, so we had to go back again and ask for more towels and the only had a few extra. The bed only had two flat pillows and no bed lamp, only roof lamps existed, so we couldn’t read in the evening when our son was sleeping. The bed linen was sliding around all night and it was a mess to sleep in. The door to the bathroom got stuck in the floor so you had to push it really hard to open and close, extremely enjoying after a few times. The hand and shower soaps was ended really fast so we had to use our own soap already the second day. They don’t clean the rooms during your stay.

Freshly painted but without any lamps in the room. Not enough pillows. Towels were small and faded. No iron and ironing board had no padding. Smoke detector was wrapped in a plastic bag.

appreciate some nice perks: courteous staff, many nice updates to room (new flooring, new marbled tiles and lighting in bathroom, fresh paint, nightstands on both side of bed, lots of outlets), recessed lighting, wonderful firm mattress, refrigerator and microwave in room. Overall, we felt it was an excellent value. Our stay was very pleasant that we returned 2 days later!

ok for a one night stay

Paper thin walls, could easily hear the neighbors. Would have stayed longer if we could sleep longer instead of listening to the neighbors tV and talking.

This property might have gotten a four or a five if not for the television fiasco I experienced. On arrival my television didn't work. After much hassle, I was able to turn it on and change channels but volume control and mute did not work. The volume was loud and annoying. I asked for another room, but they would not accommodate me.

Room did not match high ratings. We were mostly disappointed. The (+): - 24h reception. Check-in was quick and easy. - Nice bathroom! Recently remodeled. - There was a small window in the bathroom that was open when we got there. Love fresh air! - Linens were white and looked clean (except for one hair we found under one pillow). The (-): - Staff could be warmer or more welcoming. During check-out, the only thing the lady said was "Just put it there", when showing me where to return my key cards. - Cleanliness: the room looked clean at first glance, but it was not clean everywhere. Ex: hair under one of the pillows, oily prints/stains on the table, stains on walls, dust in corners... Definitely not thorough. - Towels: they need to be replaced. They may have been washed, but they all looked stained, thin, and over-used. - Safety: the door only had one lock. No secondary lock from the inside, no latch or chain door guard. - Lots of very obvious damages on different walls of the room (holes, damaged paint). That, combined with the questionable cleanliness made the room looked neglected. We will most likely not go back.
