Everything about this place is top tier! I love Lisbon so will definitely be back and will for sure stay here. The staff were all wonderful and accommodating, I was travelling with someone with mobility issues and so everyone was very helpful getting in & out of cars and around the hotel. Having a room upgrade so we had more space for wheelchair etc was also a really nice gesture.
We enjoyed the free breakfast and also took advantage of dinner in the hotel one evening, I loved the oxtail I was served and it was a nice touch having a piano player and great sommelier to explain the wines. They also do really sweet touches like chocolates, custard tarts, welcome drinks which are also delicious and very much appreciated.
I also loved the courtyard for breakfast and the view from the room. All round very well maintained and comfortable room with cool decor. Sometimes it was hard to leave the room to go exploring as it was so comfortable!
The hotel is also right in front of the metro, which while we didn’t use it given the wheelchair, is very convenient for future visits.
Overall was the perfect place to stay for our trip!

The hotel is very nice and people are extremely nice. Rooms are spacious, nicely decoratee. Breakfast very good, though service was somewhat slow. It would have been nice to have more lighting in the room. Overall excellent

After a month in Europe and the UK, this is the most wonderful hotel we have stayed at so far. and its all about the wonderful people here. Amazing service and great breakfast. thanks guys cheers to you all

I cannot begin to tell you how outstanding this facility and hotel was. Ines and Pedro along with the staff and the dining area or all beyond accommodating. Everyone here went out of their way every day to make us feel welcome down to the coffee to figuring out how to get from city to city and not end up in a city where the weather was very poor. I cannot recommend this hotel more and will continue to recommend it when I get back into the states.

Excellent location. The building is outdated, including all amenities. Breakfast was ok but the service there was very slow. Other than that the staff were friendly and polite.

Our stay was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was extra helpful and always provided service with a smile. I especially enjoyed mealtime. The food was amazing, and there were various choices to fit your appetite. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everything was perfect. I loved that the hotel was located near awesome shopping and all the things Lisbon has to offer. We will be back.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely attentive and professional. The Hotel was very inviting and decorated very tastefully. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I couldn’t thank the bar and restaurant staff enough for they’re impeccable service. Not only did they make great recommendations but we’re very accommodating to my 9yr old daughter.
The desk staff were also very helpful in recommending things to do and how to get around Lisbon.
They absolutely made our first stay in Lisbon very memorable.

Amazing hotel in such a great area of Lisbon. Staff was extremely kind and accommodating. We loved the outdoor patio and the breakfast was delicious. The room was a great size with a beautiful view of the city. Walking distance to most of the city and lots of shopping. I would definitely stay here again if i was in Lisbon.

The best hotel during my euro trip is a real boutique and the architecture is stunning. I reserved a tour around Lisboa with them. A bit expensive but I felt like reach and famous. A Mercedes Benz with a private driver in suite. Worth it. And recommended

The check in staff are very nice , location is close to metro, luxury store , and restaurants.
The breakfast is ok, I wish they had vegetables such as : tomatoes and cucumbers.

138 Liberdade is a very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely beautiful! The only thing we didn’t care for was our room was noisy. It was located back in the new section and there was lots of traffic, both car and pedestrian. I think we may have been over the dumpsters? And there was a motion activated light that went on/off all night. Of course we are dumb and didn’t realize until the day we left that there were doors that closed over the windows. Our bad!!
The breakfast was very good. If you eat in the garden, beware of the birds. lol
Also we thought the location was very good. Just outside of the Old Town but not to far. Plus Avenue Liberdade has the best shade in Lisbon!!

This is a solid 4 star hotel but I am hesitant to give it a 5 star. There are many dents on the walls, doors and furnitures and rooms really require upgarde. Breakfast could also improve. Rooms are not fully sound proof and we can hear the noise in the street and halls in our room.
On the other hand, staff are very nice and professional. They help whenever required. Free parking is a real plus in the busy area.
