The hotel is in a great location close to everything. The staff is wonderful, and the chef Alfredo is excellent. The hotel has two rooftop areas with amazing views, as well as two pools to cool down after walking around in the sun. Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately the property is located close to three different bars/ clubs. You will not be able to sleep due to noise, music extremely loud and you hear everyone passing by. I requested a change of room and it was denied. Wouldn’t recommend. Hotel is pretty, cozy, friendly staff and clean.

This a beautiful boutique hotel, friendly and helpful staff/Chef. No elevator so just be ready for stairs to go to room, dining room and rooftop pool. We really enjoyed the pool after a long day of walking in the Cartagena weather (hot and humid). Staying in the walled city is the best and this hotel is super well located.

Checked in on Monday to Thursday complained about no hot water on day 1 they try fix it didn’t work So we where stuck with cold water everyday to shower would like discount on stay for this inconvenience!

We Stayed at the hotel for 4 days and had an incredible experience. The staff was so amazing and went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. The hotel is beautifully decorated and we loved the rooftop pool and the daily breakfast prepared in the beautiful dining room. The location is perfect too, right in the center of the city and walking distance to all the major sightseeing sites.

NYE in centro Cartagena, no surprise that continuous music late at night was going to be a reality to deal with. Good thing we brought very good earplugs 😉. As for the hotel, very nice, very beautiful! Nicely renovated. The service was friendly and courteous. The rooftop pool was a nice touch. Highly recommended! The only issue I have to point out: the Deluxe room is advertized with double sink vanity, bigger room pics, and they clearly mention it's a King size bed on Hotels.com. Now I don't know if it's a Hotels.com or the hotel's mistake, but the manager told us the Superior and Deluxe rooms are both the same size with Queen size beds. Although nobody seemed to understand nor care that we paid extra for absolutely nothing more or better than a basic room... that was the only disappointment.

Unfortunately, I had to buy experience doing the booking to this hotel 1-they cancel me the day before of my check with the excuse that the hotel was under construction 2-they gave me some options to send me to a different hotels with the same category 3-I just spoke with them and I asked them to cancel my reservation to avoid the penalty they say that they will do that and never get it done I had to contact Orbitz Expedia a couple times to get my money back. I had to contact the hotel many times and finally after a lot of work that I shouldn’t done the reservation is canceled. This situation is not nice because from other country is hard to me to communicate with Orbitz and the hotel at the same time

Amazing property with sensational rooms, fantastic view over the rooftops. although it is located in the middle of all the buzz, the rooms are quiet and private. beautiful decor,delicious breakfast! A new favourite!

We pretty much loved the ambiance. That was pretty much it. When we arrived at our room there was a very big ball of hair on the floor. That first night I fell down going to the bathroom because there was a big puddle under the AC. This is something that happens all the time but we could have been warned. We had to ask for an extra floor mat to cover the puddle for the rest of the trip, as it was at the bathroom door. There was noise all the time, specially at night. The only way to enter the hotel is to ring the doorbell and wait for someone to open the door. They assure you that there is always going to be someone there to let you in. There wasn’t. We were left outside for 10 minutes and only because we were lucky that another guest was leaving and opened the door. We called and texted and got no answer. For 2 hours we could not find anyone who worked at the hotel. The first day, the housekeeper who cleaned our room was extremely rude because we came in to the room as she was cleaning. Our whole experience in Cartagena was disappointing, and this hotel is the main reason why.

The propert rooms were nice, very clean, and everything was walking distance. A lot of restaurant options at walking distanced and plenty of bars! One of the cons would be that it is VERY loud at night when going to sleep, if you get a room facing the street the music and people will be literally outside your window until past 4am! I reserved three rooms during my stay for 6 people, one of the room doors wasn’t locking and they didn’t get it fixed until the following day, this is something that should be considered emergency and fixed on the spot not left to be fixed over 24 hours. Overall I give the property a 4/5

I will suggest more light in room 3 . Extremely dark and the lightbulb in the bathroom needs to be place below the fan. Being where it is right now , it creates a terrible shadow . Loved the decor and the garden

What a beautiful property in a very good location close to restaurants and bars and shopping. The boutique hotel itself is gorgeous, very comfortable room with a extra comfortable bed and well stocked and spacious. A very pleasant smell and pleasant atmosphere in general. From the rooftop we had a view of a bar with beautiful music so we took our drinks up and had the most chill evening. I would definitely return and recommend. I didn’t have too much interaction with staff but the little we had was extremely pleasant even the security was very nice.

Beautiful! This property has the classic elegance of Colombia in the highest regard. The hotel is well kept and very clean. The white decore makes you feel like you are truly in a South American country verses a commercial franchise establishment. Very central and near many amenities. I would definitely stay there again and again. The pool is on the top floor and offers amazing views and an opportunity to see the sun set. Must be able to manage stairs with ease as there are many.

Look no further! After my nth time in Cartagena, I ended up finding a gem in a City full of multiple hospitality options. Casa DiLuca Boutique Hotel is located within the Wall City (everything is around), its full of splendor! They thought of the most minimal detail (the decor, the table settings, the slippers, the water bottle dress,, etc). I arrived early (from a red-eye) and the very nicely accommodated a 10am check-in free of charge. The breakfast included multiple local options (even beef soup for hangover!!) and american style dishes. The rooftop bar had a wonderful view of the city whose ruins captivate your imagination (the drinks were savory!). Nothing sets apart a great from a nightmare experience like the quality of its staff. The Manager (Jaime) has an amazing team end-to-end. From the reception to the kitchen staff to the bar - everyone was so wonderful and accommodated us as if we were royalty! I had a personal package that did not arrive before checkin and they even mailed it out for me. Words aren’t enough to convince anyone of how AMAZING this hotel is. I can’t wait to be back to my favorite City and stay another turn. Thanks to Jaime, Diomedez , Carmen and Daniel (the chef) for an unforgettable stay and making me feel so special.

The team working at Casa DiLuca are AMAZING. Service was the best and I have traveled the world, staying at hundreds of hotels in my lifetime. Betsey at front desk is a star as well as the support team. The food if fantastic! The table settings beautiful beyond words. The roof top pool views fantastic. The style and attention to details first class. For me top 3 experiences ever and HIGHLY recommend you book here. Location is perfect. I would not stay anywhere else in Cartegena. my stay at the hotel was amazing. People are wonderful that work there. The location is very convenient to everything in Cartagena. The rooms are beautiful. The 2 Swimming pools are beautiful. Everything was perfect. I will definitely stay again. Jesus at the front desk was a very big help to me and made me very comfortable at the hotel. We were thrilled with this casa … & the staff. Inside the walled city. Walk to everything plus 3 blocks away (just outside the wall) is getsemani neighborhood with colorful umbrella, kite & flag streets. The perfect place - we highly recommend it! ❤️
