Quinta dos Lobos is a really nice old converted estate. There are nice grounds surrounding the estate that are available to guests. The rooms are tastefully decorated but leave a bit to be desired in terms of appointments, as there are no TVs or, more importantly, clothing irons/steamers in the room. On an odd note, the staff were oddly fixated on whether my room rate included breakfast (it did), and I had to show them my Expedia reservation at both check-in and check-out to not get charged 9€ (in a country where an espresso and a pastry go for under 3€) each for a very mediocre breakfast. Aside from that, staff were friendly and accommodating. A couple notes about the area - the hotel is near one of the key palace attractions, but is a 15-20 minute walk from the main tourist area. There is a medieval pub next door with live music that gets LOUD on the weekends.

The property and room were nice and comfortable, and the staff was accommodating. There is no air conditioning so we had to sleep with the windows open since it was 70-80f during the day. The windows do not have screens so my partner and I woke up with 10-20 new mosquito bites daily over our 3-night stay. The shower door has gaps in it and leaked daily, knowing this house-keeping should come swap towels daily so guest do not have to hang them out the window to dry.

Beautiful location , a little escape from the chaos .

The location of the property was special-an old farm that is still being used. The building was great, our room was nice and we had a great view. It was incredibly quiet, so we had a good rest. The bathroom needed a coat of paint, as it was peeling pretty badly by the windows. The man who checked us in was incredibly kind, and gave us a nice tour of the grounds. It could probably use one more staff person, as the morning manager was doing everything, and was having a hard time keeping up. All in all, I would stay there again.

This is such a lovely place. The staff is absolutely amazing, and the property is still in the infancy of what it's about to become. Cannot wait to come back and see what the ower has done! Very walkable and peaceful!

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel with each room is designed differently. The grounds are spectacular. Breakfast was delicious - made to order with large selection of options. Dina at reception was the perfect host. She went above and beyond to assist us. Thank you Dina for making our stay extra special.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Quinta dos Lobos! The staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to old Sintra and transportation to the sights around Sintra but far enough out of town to have a very relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views. Our room was gorgeous, quite large and cozy but also modern.

The staff was very kind. He upgraded my room. The room was wide and clean. I recommend this hotel absolutely.

I recently stayed at the hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The location just outside of town was perfect, as it provided a peaceful atmosphere while still being within easy walking distance of the city center. The outdoor seating area was a particular highlight, as it allowed me to enjoy the beautiful greenery that surrounded the property. The breakfast was also very nice. Overall, I was very happy with my experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others. The convenient location, peaceful atmosphere, and well-appointed amenities make it a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

This was our third visit to Sintra a the first stay at Quinta dos Lobos. The staff,the facilities,and the location were outstanding! They have an amazing art focused philosophy in the development. The staff were incredibly sincere and helpful. We felt at home. Walking access to Sintra could not be any easier. We had an amazingly spacious room on the third floor with an incredible view. The only caution there is the sloped ceilings so be careful. We would return without question and enjoyed our stay completely.

This wonderful old Quinta has been lovingly and tastefully renovated and feels very inviting. The lush grounds are enchanting and atmospheric. The staff is warm and dedicated. And all this is just a 5-minute walk from the Quinta da Regaleira. Amazing. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.

Quinta dos Lobos was perfect for us. It was walkable to the center of Sintra, where we caught the city bus for the local sites.

We arrived from the US early in the morning an decided to spend one night in Sintra before driving to Porto. This was the perfect spot! The staff was super friendly. Had parking which was KEY for us. Shower was awesome and bed comfy. I will definitely recommend.

This hotel is right next door to Quinta da Regaleira, which is a plus because that is one of the highlights of Sintra, and allows you to walk to the beginning of your Sintra sightseeing. You will, however, have to rely on taxis or Tuktuks because you really do not want to drive here or try to rely on the buses. Plan your Sintra itinerary and transportation carefully, including dinner. Uber will not pickup out here and there's nothing you can do about it, but we had good luck with the taxis summoned by the hotel staff. Very friendly staff at this hotel will do everything they can to accommodate your needs, even letting you into the staff laundry room if you need to iron some shirts.

Lovely renovated old building. A bit hard to find with google maps. Parking is a long walk away so drop off your luggage at the driveway before you go to the parking lot. It is quicker (12 minutes)to walk back to the city center than it is to drive.

A unique boutique hotel in a beautifully restored old mansion-sized home. It fits right in with Sintra setting! Clean, comfy bed, good breakfast.

New property. Quiet. Beautiful location and gardens with amazing view of valley (especially during sunset). Walkable to Regaleira (bus stop and tuk-tuks) and into town square. Large room. Beautiful decor and interior arrangements - as if out of a novel. Spent a while just taking photos of the room! Delicious breakfast. Wifi. Parking. Staff very friendly, helpful, warm & welcoming, and made the experience even better than already was; special thanks to all Shahadat, Rafael, Piyar, and Jahid that made this place that extra something special. Only wish we had more time in Sintra and Quinta dos Lobos Hotel. A clear highlight of our trip throughout the beautiful country of Portugal. Hope to return!

This is a recently opened beautiful boutique hotel with some teething problems. For instance, my room key was not working most of the time but staff were very helpful.
