South House is located a little outside weligama and is such a beautiful quite oasis. We were stunned by the garden and the rooms are even nicer than in the pictures. The staff was so lovely we felt very welcome and homey. Also the breakfast was amazing. We hope to come again some time!

Super location, 4 min walk to the beach. The most peaceful place I've been in a long time. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and very good quality linen. Good A/C and fan. Much attention has been given to detail, there is even a USB charging port on the plug point. Beautiful decor, lovely garden and pool. Glenn, the host, was very helpful and Malka, who cooks and cleans, is a gem. I would not hesitate to recommend South House and hope to be back soon.

Beautiful colonial villa spotlessly clean, super tasteful simple design. All set around the most tranquil garden and pool. Felt like being welcomed into a family home. I loved staying here.

Staff - above and beyond with their help during the stay. And after the stay. Breakfast - amazing selection of fruit, yoghurt, roti, eggs, coconut sambol, coffee. Sita even provided a take-away breakfast for us that we could have in the shuttle towards the airport. We left South House at 6 am and could enjoy fresh fruit, yoghurt, sandwiches, coffee and water on the way. And she added wet hand towels! She had thought about every single detail! Glenn - helped us with organising the airport shuttle. It was so punctual, comfortable and safe. Thank you so much for your help!

The internet connection was up and down, and signal was weak. May sound like a desperate thing to think during the holiday, but we needed to stay connected every day for our work duties and sometimes the weak signal was a problem for us.

We loved our stay at South House Weligama! The perfect place to relax and unwind. Minutes walk from the beach in a quiet area. The property is simple and beautifully put together. The staff are kind and went to great lengths to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Lots of love for this amazing place!

I LOVED everything about this place! Before we even stepped foot on the property we were welcomed with a personal message by the owner. Upon arriving, we were met at the entrance with welcome drinks then shown to our beautiful room. The room had multiple outlets, a sitting area, water and chilled glasses for us to drink, towels, beach towels and the most comfortable bed. The room was cleaned daily which was a nice touch. In addition, the food there (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! The best we had in Sri Lanka! The location is great! Its quiet but you’re only a short walk to the main road that leads to the city and a short walk to a semi private beach. The staff was so kind and accommodating. I cant praise this place enough!

I will say the wifi was a bit slow at times but this place was still absolutely perfect!
