Our stay was very short but it was nice for the limited time I was there. After reviewing the bill that was emailed to me, there are three charges for items from the minibar. We did not take anything from the minibar. So disappointed that I would be charged for three items that were never touched. I would like a full refund for all of those charges. Makes me wonder how those could be added to my bill when everything was the way we left it.

This was a very nice hotel to stay in and I would come back. The vibe here was very relaxing from the social hour they had to the bar! Top tier and within distance to State Farm Arena for all of their events. Personnel were also very kind and welcoming.

Front desk customer service was very poor. I evacuated from FL due to hurricane Milton I was not able to make check in due to excessive traffic. I arrive valet would not park my vehicle because it was too big according to staff (I drive an f250 completely stock) never had a problem anywhere else. I try and check in and front desk lady tells me my stay was cancelled due to not making in check in. I had paid for my nights before hand and they cancelled my stay. I ask for availability to book a new room and without checking she tells me there’s no rooms available. I go back on hotels.com and see there’s availability so I book a room. The poor service continued when I requested refund they charged me the night I was not able to make check in for.

The hotels was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff from the front desk to the bar tenders and especially the valet were simply wonderful. They were attentive, helpful, and happy. We will definitely recommend the Kimpton Shane to anyone going to Atlanta

Check - in was at 3pm Arrived to the hotel at 330. Room wasn't ready until 4:15pm after traveling cross country. No apology, just given two free drink vouchers so we could go and wait to be served in the bar area. The room was great but the food and lack of concern to please the guest, left a lot to be desired. There was an MLS team staying there and a Delta convention of some sort so we clearly were not the priority

Amazing panoramic view. Bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was so hard it felt like a massage. I didn’t want to get out!

Cheerful welcoming staff. Lovely clean room. Comfortable layout and furniture. Good bed, nice big bathroom with separate toilet stall. Nice happy hour wine in the lobby, and friendly bar for a nightcap. Great walkable neighborhood - don’t miss the High Museum. Yoga mat in the room, and great robes. Love the Kimpton properties - they never disappoint.

The walls in the room are wafer thin you you can hear your neighbors. Contacting housekeeping or the front desk isn't straightforward. Sometimes they don't even pick up. Staff was not very helpful or courteous so I never felt welcomed. My room was near the elevator and I could hear everyone. Bar was popular and seemed pretty active. The hotel isn't near a lot of dining options. Valet is $45 and the staff won't even tell you there is literally paid parking for $20 right next to the hotel. The location is right next to arts center Marta which is convenient.

I loved the ice and filtered water with the lemons. My stay was very comfortable and the motion lights in the restroom was a nice touch.

Clean, comfortable, with classy service. My son and I were in town for college visits. We travel a lot and this was one of our best hotel stays recently. Incredibly responsive staff. We received a text shortly after checking in asking if our room was ok. I mentioned a couple of items - as general feedback, not expecting it to be resolved - and a short while later, staff knocked on our door to offer more pillows and adjust temperature, etc. Nice to visit a property that lives up to the hospitality in “hospitality industry!” Only complaint was that a/c was cccccccold! Bring a sweater, you’ll be fine.

The rooms you see online is not what you get! I strongly urge others to be extremely cautious when considering this place. I recently booked a 1 King Premium Panoramic Midtown View at Kimpton Shane Atlanta to celebrate my son's birthday, expecting a room that matched the pictures on their website. When I checked in, I was shocked to find that the room was nothing like what was advertised online. The setup was completely different from what I planned for. I had envisioned decorating and setting up a cake on the corner table of the room with a view and decorating the column as shown in the pictures. The room they assigned me wasn’t even pictured on their site. When I requested an explanation, the front desk informed me that the exact room I booked was sold out and that they have different versions of rooms. I was told I should have called in advance to request the exact room in the picture, which I find completely misleading. Despite this, they still refused to give me a refund. The staff, from the front desk ladies to the supervisor, were unhelpful and unprofessional. Even my travel agency couldn’t get them to address the issue. After a long, tiring day at Six Flags, I felt trapped and eventually had to give up on trying to get a refund. To make matters worse, when my son got hungry, I tried to order room service, but there was no QR code in the room as promised. My son and I searched the entire room, and when I called the front desk, the staff member came up to check and was

This is the best hotel in midtown Atlanta period. They respond immediately to any concern. They text u to say hi after arrival. And the person at the counter when I was checking out today knew my name! Amazing!

Great stay!

I am not one to normally leave a review, but as someone who travels weekly for work this experience deserves a review. I stayed at the Shane because of an issue at my regular hotel. The valet welcomed me and provided me top tier service when most valets are lack luster. The front desk adgent seemed genuinely polite which is refreching after a long day. Everyone from the wait staff to hotel security introdued themselves and asked how they could improve my stay. I have offically found my new favorite Atlanta hotel and will definitely be back.

This was my husband and I first time staying at The Kimpton. It smelled clean from the moment we stepped foot in the door until the time we left. The staff was very pleasant at check in. The beds were comfortable and the room decor was amazing. Will definitely stay here again!
