The rooms were very good, comfortable bed, and clean.

We had dinner there on the first night and some of our party were not impressed. We ate out the following 2 nights. At such a hotel I was expecting a good breakfast but it was quite a disappointment. Quality was not very good and the chef needs to be taught how to cook scrambled eggs!!

Food was brilliant, staff in the bars and restaurant were excellent and nice big room comfortable bed.

Had issue with water pressure in the room, but we were only one night and management sorted it for us.

Zimmer und Bad waren groß. Das ruhige Schlafzimmer hatte eine gute Matratze, Frühstück und Abendessen waren schmackhaft und abwechslungsreich und wurden in sehr gemütlicher Atmosphäre im Restaurant dargereicht. Die Sommerterrasse war sehr idyllisch und der große Parkplatz bot ausreichend Platz.

No access to an elevator and we were on the highest floor! Tough with two suitcases and two pieces of hand luggage.

Great breakfast served quickly and efficiently by cheerful staff. Quality food.

No kippers on breakfast menu. Poor choice of (staple) main courses for dinner. No vegetables only salad with our Chicken Kiev. One starter was off but still on the printed menu. Wine list limited and was on a crumpled piece of A4 paper.

The food was outstanding, the surroundings absolutely wonderful. The staff was so pleasant the whole time. We loved it and would absolutely go back. Just wish we had picked to spend more time here....

Could have used some maintenance. Paint peeling all over the outside, and floors were reaised in the bathroom due to really bad caulk job - caused the door to not open cleanly.

The breakfast food was excellent along with the service. We were looking for a quiet location and the hotel certainly met these expectations.

The stairs to the rooms were a bit difficult to manage due to height of the steps and winding narrow staircase however, I do appreciate that the building is old and not much can be done to improve this

The staff are excellent - really helpful + friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel is in a great location. The dinner menu was excellent. The hotel securely stored my bike overnight.

I was originally put in a room with a broken shower but when I told the staff, they happily offered me an alternative room, so no issues in the end.

It’s in need of a major refurb. A bit tired and dated. The breakfast staff were delightful and breakfast was excellent. But the room left a lot to be desired; broken curtain poles, a very basic bathroom, chipped and damaged furniture. A tray with dirty dishes was outside our room for almost 24 hours.

Location good...able to have a nice riverside walk,after a long drive from Leicestershire. Breakfast very good.

We had 2 double rooms, paid the same price.However, while my friend had a room up the main staircase...roomy & quiet, I had a room up the winding stairs near Reception.Thankfully, I was only carrying an overnight bag.My room was small & had a horrid view, overlooking rooftops with kitchen ventilators...these were noisy and even made my room vibrate!! I asked to change rooms, but was told there was no alternative available and the noise would stop at 9-30. Very disappointed, needed a peaceful room after my long drive.No way would I swap with my friend, who is VERY fussy. There was no comparison between the 2 rooms & they definitely shouldn't cost the same.

The shower was over a high bath. Which was difficult for an arthritic to get in and out of as it increased the risk of falling.

I’ve stayed here over the past 6 years and the fabric of the building and room standard are beginning to return to pre Covid levels. staff are always awesome.

Beautiful location on the approach to Perth from Dunblane. It felt like a really authentic Scottish hotel with really friendly staff.

The staff was quite nice and friendly. And the building is beautiful.

The room was dirty. There were crumbs on the floor, dust on the kettle. It was also way smaller than advertised. We paid for dinner in advanced but you only get £25 per person allowance. And the food is the quality of a cheap pub. We stayed in a Leonardo hotel in Germany and the quality was a lot better.
