Great location and host

very close to the sea, close to a beautiful lighthouse, quite a large number of restaurants and bars, good location

It was a bit cold outside this time of year, heating in the house timed, also either hot or cold. Well, I was surprised by a leaking roof, above the beds, after that everything was ok

Room was a bit cold by mid night

Had the double deluxe room, excellent sea view, comfy bed, room was clean but in need of an update, mould on silicone around shower tray, soap holders etc seen better days, microwave and mini fridge in room, en-suite was very compact but functional. Free parking outside front of building.

Breakfast was not provided, rooms could do with an update.

This place is ideal location for everything. Really enjoyed our stay

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Once checked in we were left alone to enjoy our stay . No breakfast is provided but there are plenty of places to eat close by . We had lots of nice walks .

Warm welcome, great location myself and my daughter stayed as she had a gymnastics competition nearby. The guest house is very cosy we stayed in the four-poster bedroom which had a kettle microwave And TV. The host was lovely it was easy to get the keys for a room and easy key drop off on our departure. I would recommend the room that we stayed in as it had a beautiful view of the seafront. If my daughter has another competition next year at this location I will definitely be staying again.

It is about twenty minutes distance to metro station.

They didnt do breakfast, but there is a good cafe over the road.

Reception, we stood knocking for 10 minutes before someone answered the door.

Our view from the bedroom was amazing and the bed was so comfy. Brill. Location wil def be back x

Lovely white soft bedding, comfy pillows and bed. Very clean and staff very friendly. Just across the road from the beach.

Location was great, only 15 minutes' walk from Seaburn Metro Station and a nice view of Roker pier and beach from my top floor room. Staff were friendly and check-in worked well. I went to the north east for the Great North Run but hotels in Newcastle were too expensive - just 20 minutes on the metro and you were out of the big city and smelling the sea air!

Great location and overall facilities

Bed was very uncomfortable. The springs dug in to my back in the night. Everything else was fine at the hotel. If the mattress was comfortable I would rate this excellent value for money. But I didn't sleep well at all which made the difference to the overall quality of the hotel.

Great position, near to a decent restaurant next door at the ‘Poetic license’. The room had a great view.

No breakfast facilities, the shared bathroom facilities and guests leaving the front door open on the latch which made it feel less secure.

Shower on top floor needs fixed as cold with no heat at all. ut it was high summer thankfully
