Lovely helpful staff and owners. Very homely. Great traditional food with fresh, local ingredients.
Small pool was very welcome after a tiring couple of days. Well located in quiet enclave.
Great value for money. One of our favourite hotels on our trip - a great all rounder, we stayed at much more expensive hotels during our trip, but loved the personal service and friendliness of Ikaki Niwas

The hotel is in a very safe area of Jaipur. There is a park next to it for a little walk. The hotel is impecable clean. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom ample and comfortable. The staff is super kind, polite. and friendly. Very nice people. There is a small but cute pool in a very nice terrace where you can also enjoy breakfast and dinner. Totally worth it!

Beautiful heritage hotel with comfortable and good sized room + bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and never too busy but the location is also great for nearby places to eat. Best of all is the staff and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly and easy going. Akram was attentive and happy to help with recommendations and booking cars etc. (Jitendra who drove me to the Amber Fort was also friendly, chilled and had great music taste!)

We stayed for two nights at Ikaki Niwas as our last destination of our 2 week Indian round-trip. It was the best decision we've made to stay at Ikaki Niwas, after having restaurant and hotel food all the time. We got welcomed with flower petals falling from the rooftop on us as we entered. It was like being welcomed by a relative to their house, being pampered with homecooked meals and just relaxing. The service was great, and that home-vibe was very much needed.
Would have prefered a double bed rather than two single beds.

The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I arrived in the middle of the night and they greeted me with a smile. They provide the highest level of service 💖
Booked this hotel for 7 nights because of the beach chairs. Every day I received the same answer in regards to the lack of the beach chairs, maintenance....
One day I was chatting with a lady visiting the hotel. I received the tip to go Pushkar (must visit! ❣)
We were talking about Brahma, reincarnation etc.
She told me I would have to come back another life because I was still eating meat. Animals are killed because I'm eating meat. 'The animals don't have a voice', were her exact words.
I thought about her words whilst on the train to Pushkar.
My intuition tells me,
Where is the voice of the people?
They work 24/7.
I was in the hotel for 7 days.
I saw them every day.
From morning till evening.
Sleeping on the floor.
They have a wife and children.
They should have a minimum of 1 day off per week and 3-4 days per month to see their wife and children.
Mahatma Gandhi abolished the caste system.
Why is it still in place?
Where is the voice of the people?

I loved the location. Amidst the hustle and bustle of Jaipur, Ikaki Niwas is a point of refuge. It is at the end of a quiet side street and just a short drive to all the major points of interest like palaces, temples and coffee shops. I traveled here with my elderly parents and sister. They had a lovely time. The staff went over and above to be sure we were comfortable and had a pleasant stay. The beds were comfortable and the breakfasts were always fresh and delicious. I would 100% visit again.
Nothing!

Enjoyed the opportunity to eat a spicy or plain food or combination of both. We ate breakfast and dinner each evening. Delicious.
