Dimora del Emme is located just a few blocks from old town Ravenna in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The owner has refurbished a large home and lives on-site in the main part of the building. There are 5 rooms in a separate wing for guests and a small kitchen/dining room for breakfast or snacks. The rooms are generously sized, with nice large modern bathrooms with curbless showers. Wi-fi is strong. Location and cleanliness are exceptional. And the owner is so welcoming, helpful, and available if you need her. She has two adorable small white dogs that will play if you want them to. The property is totally fenced with a security gate opening to the driveway and the inner yard. The feeling of safety is very strong. Each guest is given a key to their room along with a key to the solid metal gate to come and go as needed. The property has a lovely yard with chairs for enjoying a quiet time or talking and has a good collection of bikes to use for free! Everyone in Ravenna bikes, so being able to bike through town was such fun, despite the narrow streets and sharing with cars. Breakfast was always ready in the morning in the cute breakfast room. All the offerings were of a sweet nature (cookies, muffins, cakes etc.) with no protein choices. There were some apples. The owner was present during some breakfasts and offered to make coffee or tea. I highly recommend this B&B as a clean, quiet respite from the frenzy of old town. Staying there makes you feel like a native.

The only thing that could have been different for me was the bed's mattress. It was very firm, almost hard. Adding a foam topper would be a great help. Also the bathroom shower was stocked with shampoo and shower soap. But the containers were only labeled "B" and "S". When we suggested writing out what was in the bottles, the owner was very receptive and understood the confusion. I used the shampoo for a shower because I thought "S" meant shower gel. If you have an upstairs room, there are stairs to climb and carry luggage up to the two rooms upstairs. That might be a problem for some. It would have been appreciated if breakfast had some options other than sweets. Perhaps some meats or eggs.

Great location and off street parking was what we needed. Walking distance to the center and the host was excellent GRAZIE
