Property has gorgeous view and very well maintained, layout perfect for 6 adults plus children… step out onto sand, walk to restaurants, air conditioning, two fridges, everything as described on website. Family went surfing, boarding, bike riding, enjoyed rooftop jacuzzi, grilling, playing pool and just kicking back. Perfect family vacation. Manager made the property perfect upon our arrival and very enjoyable. Very clean. All questions answered immediately.

Great Property but master is right on board walk and drunk people all night long are noisy leaving the bars from 12 midnight until 2 am. I had to trade rooms with my 15 year old who can sleep thru anything. I prefer Encinitas where you still have the ocean view but not the young drunk kids everynight including weekdays. Property manager and owner were very attentive and helpful. They had every gadget you would ever need. I never used the jacuzzi because it's on the roof would have preferred it be on the bottom balacony to enjoy with family and others but kids loved it since it was private. Beautiful home, too many electronics to figure out could have been simpler. We never could figure out how to watch TV. Music was great but if one was upstairs in the jacuzzi couldn't listen to different music downstairs on the beach patio. Very clean however great view. Clean home just to technical and too noisy for us.

Our trip was absolutely amazing! The house was even more special in person, if you can believe that. Susan was an incredible host, she made us feel so incredibly welcome and gave us the complete run down on the place and area so that we could settle in right away and enjoy every moment. She was responsive, attentive, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect! We spent all our time on the first floor patio and roof top deck, each providing its own amazing oceanfront experience.

Our stay was amazing! Everything about the home was fabulous. Kid friendly and pet friendly. Susan was incredible and we are looking forward to coming back soon!

Fabulous location. Very nice owner & property manager. Property manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and that we had everything we needed. The only downside for us was the lengthy orientation upon check in - over an hour. Too long after a full day of travel. Would stay again.

This is a beautiful property. I have a few things I would add to the description to help avoid some minor misconceptions. This is a house on the beach...with the boardwalk immediately adjacent to the patio. This means there is constant activity. Walkers, joggers, skateboarders, bikes, all going by at all hours of the day and night. It can get a little unnerving when all of these people are looking into the house. The pictures show the boardwalk, but with no one on the beach the thought never crossed our minds that this would be such a thriving hub of activity. The house is well furnished, but we found there is really too much furniture on the ground level and the sectional is not comfortable. The TV is operated by an ipad or app from your phone. It's a little too high tech for my liking. We had the experience of someone had put the master bedroom TV on a timer for a program to come on. Unfortunately for my husband and I, that occured at 1:00 a.m. on our first night. Trying to figure out how to shut the TV off without using the remote (which is there, but has a sticker on it that says DO NOT USE), was very frustrating. The bedrooms are well furnished and have lots of storage. Bathrooms are well appointed, but a little too high tech for selection of water temperature. The house is close enough to shops, restaurants and grocery store, that walking is definitely an option. We had a great time at this location, but my husband and I felt that for the price of this home, everything should be in working order. The kitchen refrigerator worked, but not the freezer. There is another refrigerator in the garage that works, but not really convenient. The dishwasher had a roller wheel missing on the bottom rack that made it very difficult to load and unload the dishwasher. Certainly usable, but again, very inconvenient. We had a wonderful time on our vacation, but it had more to do with who we were with than where we were at. This house needs some attention to detail to justify the price.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Michael’s house on the boardwalk in the best part of Newport Beach. The house and the nonstop views are spectacular. We’ve already rebooked for next summer!

Very lovely house right on the beach. Location is ideal where you can walk to the taco place, the supermarket, the bars and just a quick drive from shopping. The house itself is great with a fully stocked kitchen, several outdoor seating areas and a nice lounge area. Having the beach right outside with kids truly amazing as they were able to play in the sand on a daily basis. Susan looks after the place for Michael and she was very detailed and made sure everything was clean, prepped and all stocked up! Highly recommend and can’t wait to be back.

The whole experience was wonderful, functional, and walkable! We have both booked vacation rentals this was one of the top three! Nothing was needed, everything was in its place, and it felt like home! Susan was especially informative. We had no need to call her, she was that thorough!

First of all, the raves for Susan are so well deserved. She is a gem of a person and property manager. The house itself is spectacular. No detail is overlooked and when previous guests say well stocked they really do mean it. We look forward to staying here again, but for 2 weeks instead of one!

It was all we thought it would be and better! Our family of 4 and 2 small dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal for easy access to everything you would desire to do and if staying at the property was preferred you had all the amenities that you would need for a great time! We would definitely rent again!

Wonderful experience! We were met by Susan, the property manager. She paid great attention to details and made the home extremely comfortable and welcoming. The home is extremely well equipped, comfortable, and the location cannot be beat.

This property was advertised as the best location on the beach. They weren't kidding. All three levels of this home have incredible views. 1st level you can walk out of the gate on the patio and you are on the sand. We were able to watch our 4-year old play in the sand just outside of the patio while we still sat in the shade if we preferred. After soaking my old bones in the 3rd level jacuzzi early each morning, I would head down to the first level to have coffee on the patio and watch a pod of dolphins just off shore. My wife enjoyed the master suite with its private deck so much that she said she needed a moment to say goodbye to it before we departed. Not only was the home immaculate and extremely comfortable, but the location was very convenient as well. Our older kids made several treks on-foot to the Pavilions grocery store that is just three blocks away. If you are there over a weekend and fresh fish is up your alley, then make the pleasant walk down to the pier and visit Dory's Fishing Fleet Market (Susan's suggested to us). We picked up some fresh sea bass there and cooked it on the gas grill. It was delicious! The home also has a wonderful entertainment system that is controlled by Apple ipads. With just a few swipes of the finger you can choose between music (Spotify) or TV (Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, DirecTV) with the ipads serving as remotes. The music can be played on all three levels of the home. Mr. Flynn has not missed any amenities in the setup of his home for renters. Susan Seaman (property manger) was a delight and a great help in detailing out restaurants and things to do in the area. She checked in several times via text during our stay to make sure everything was going well. She also checked us in and walked us through the stereo and television system. My older kids (18 to 23 years old) very much enjoyed the gas fireplaces on the 1st level patio as well as the 3rd level (their favorite due to the jacuzzi) each night. With the sliding doors open on the second and third levels at night we were able to drift off to the sound of the surf and enjoy the cool ocean breezes. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation after 15 months of COVID madness. For my wife and I this was, by far, our most relaxing vacation since our honeymoon in Maui 24 years ago. If you are considering this property for a family vacation or couples getaway, you will not be disappointed with Mr. Flynn's Beach Oasis!

From John & Connie Frank: We like to rent and experience different beach homes along the California coast, but this one is worth returning to! We had an awesome experience in this wonderful home. The location is perfect. Walking distance to everything we needed including morning coffee, restaurants and the fresh fish market. The home is comfortable and the most well stocked home we have ever rented. The views of the ocean and sunsets are extraordinary. There were a few items that needed attention the first couple of days, but Susan, the house manager was available 24/7 to take care of any issues. 5 stars! 7 year old granddaughter’s review: “amazing”

Overall we loved our experince at this Newport Beach house. Susan, the property manager went above and beyond to make sure everything was fititng to our needs. The beds were super comfortable with nice bedding, well stocked with towels and even fresh coffee every morning. The rooftop patio is a bonus to enjoy sunset in the hot tub. And the front patio of course, with easy access to the surf and any becah activities. Would love to come back soon!

Rented this property for 10 days and wish it could have been longer. Perfect location and excellent house. Mike and Susan were both great and made the booking and check in process very easy. We kept in touch with Susan throughout our stay, she was very helpful. House was clean and was equip with everything we needed from pots and pans to sheets and hair dryers, to bikes and boogie boards. Highly recommend this property for your stay.
