We had a lovely stay. The home was very comfortable and roomier than we expected. Not far from the city centre either

This was ideal for myself and children, we went for a lovley walk through some woods near the racecourse on boxing day to blow off the cobwebs so to stay :) The house was clean and spacious too

Great stay. Place was lovely, very clean. Beds were very comfy and there was a useful info pack in the house which we thought was a great addition. Love to return and will reccomend.

This property is ideal if you are visiting The races we were visiting family nearby so didn't get the added bonus of this but will certainly look at booking here if we go to the race!

We booked here to stay as we were going to York Races. A fantastic location and the house had everything we needed for our stay. On street parking was a bonus. Would return definitely and we had a great weekend

Good points of the property: • Location for racecourse and city centre • Generous sized rooms • Amenities within the property are good. • 3 toilets Negatives • Ground floor windows are sash windows so for security reasons need to keep them closed whilst you are out or asleep leaving the property very hot • Hot water is on a switch and not made clear in the information provided, so spent a little while trying to figure this out • House is very very warm, and if you are staying on the top floor it gets like a sauna • Interior is a little dated. • No dining area • Only get one key, which means if one member of the party comes back early they need to wait up to let every one in – due to needing the key to lock the door from the inside. • Cleaners are waiting for you to leave at 10.01am, which meant we got charged extra

three spacious rooms, very warm space in summer,walkable to York,good for a short stay. Highly recommend the place

Although we only stayed for one night, it was a great stay. Fans were provided in every bedroom, which we were very grateful for in the hot weather! Easy walk into York centre with shops and pubs along the way. Will happily stay here again when I next visit York.

The property was absolutely stunning. It was furnished beautifully and the attention to detail was outstanding. There was toilet roll and handwash for us to use. Beds were very comfy

Had a great stay . Everything we needed and more . Was a 20 minute walk into York . Free parking was a bonus.
