This location was close to the interstate and easy to find. After 5 and a half hours of driving, the bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby. There are plenty of options at breakfast and it was well staffed and continuously stocked.

The access door from the parking lot doesn't work. When we informed the front desk they said it's been like that for weeks. There is no water fountain, you have to go to the breakfast area to get water from a Cistern. Elevators are far from the lobby and only one elevator services the hotel making it inconvenient.

One night stay for personal business the next day. Carpet in room was stained. Bathroom floor was either dirty or needed replaced. Bathroom sink would not drain. No way cleaning crew could properly clean the sink with such a slow drain. I couldn’t figure out how the wall thermostat controlled room temp - could only raise or lower temp but in the off position the fan continued to run. I did not contact front desk with a complaint BUT, there is no way that they could be ‘unaware’ if g there deficiencies in the room.
The morning buffet was good. Only ate dry cereal, yogurt and coffee, but the area looked very clean.

Overall a good value with friendly staff. Quirk = slow elevators that are not “smart”. That is, each floor has an elevator call button, not up or down. During busy times the (full) elevators will stop at every floor that summons them, whether they are going up or down. This hampers the process of moving people around efficiently. Find the lone stairwell at the far end of the building opposite the lobby - it’s better for getting around. Except when hauling luggage in and out of course, or if you’re on an upper floor ( there are 6 I believe).

Very clean. Our door keys stopped working which required 3 trips back and forth to the front desk from the 6th floor which ultimately didnt work and staff had to "key" us in. Maintenance staff was very nice. Breakfast was good, staff there very friendly. Coffee was really gross. Watery. Would stay again because the important stuff was good!

Very nice desk attendant checking in. The room was clean and the breakfast was super good. Whoever makes the biscuits and gravy does a fabulous job. Also a wide variety of breakfast foods. Make sure you get the coffee because it was good as well.

Handicap room which the button did not open. Good thing I wasn't in a wheelchair. This was the worst room I've ever stayed in, in the past 40 years. I would have checked out if staying for more than one night,

Was there for a one night visit. A/C in the room was rather loud compared to other hotels and carpet looked rather dingy. But the place was clean and conveniently accessible to and from the highway.

Loved the comfort of the room and how clean it was. Only thing i would suggest is when cleaning the rooms make cleaning the vents in the bathroom be a part of the cleaning routine. This is the only hotwl i will stay at when im in charleston.
