I live 20 minutes away from Richmond but decided to have a short escape with the family because Richmond is such as nice place to visit. Good vibe, family friendly, lots of parks, good atmosphere at night especially friday saturday. The hotel is very nice, i travel alot abroad and wish i could get a similar quality for hotels that are usually more expensive and smaller with fewer facilities. Good staff, helpful friendly and clean bedrooms. Highly recommend

Great location , nice spacious room. No view as it has a window facing a wall but it lets light in. We didn't require a room with a view as it was a place to stay whilst out in Gunnersbury park. Has lovely Bramley toiletries. It is ideal for walking to Richmond Town centre and th park is on your door step.

Great property for both business and pleasure

It was the second time we had stayed here. Overall sevice was good, although breakfast service the first morning was somewhat slow but was spot on the second day. Only point on condition of the bathroom, the bason tap was loose, i did mention but was not a show stopper. Overall a good stay, staff friendly and good food.

The hotel is nice with friendly staff. But a few issues, in the Spa one of the hot tubs weren't working. The rails on the steps to the hot tub were loose, and a bit precarious. One night in our room, the air conditioning failed, and we were give n a hand fan. Whilst we had a discount given on the price, at the price and location, they just need to pay attention to the finer details.

Perfect hotel. Amazing bar restaurant area, lovely outdoor spot when it’s sunny. The pool and spa area is top draw, I used it both before checkout and the next morning. Peaceful and tranquil - to be included in the hotel price it is amazing Will stay again

Excellent location and within walking distance of Richmond Park. The hotel is fresh and feels very new with an excellent terrace and rooms are large and pleasant

This hotel is lovely overall however with small outdoor area being open to the public and the weather being nicer than usual it’s like trying to find a parking space in a shopping centre on a Saturday afternoon. The room that sleeps 3 with the sofa bed was decorated well, the bed could do with a topper change, it had a dip in it on one side and the Vanity chair had stains in it. The food was/is priced highly, dinner was far better than the lunch. I would suggest going out for lunch. With it being so popular online I think it over crowded so maybe visiting in the week would be a better experience.

Nice ambiance. Easy walk into Richmond but not so easy on the way back.

We had a superior room but were initially put in a basement room which was very dark with very little natural light and 2 lights didn’t work but after going back to reception we were quickly moved to one on the next floor that had plenty of natural light but no view which was acceptable. The spa was a big highlight, very clean great facilities with a good size pool and 3 hot tubs and also well maintained with staff regularly checking water quality. Bed very comfy and room nice but could have been bigger. Staff were nice and helpful, restaurant looked good but didn’t use it. Would definitely stay again but at the prices of the rooms which are very high would have to weigh up the value for money

great stay at Harbour Hotel ! The vibe , the area and the atmosphere is relaxed and joyful . The hotel is a beautiful english heritage . Helpful staff . Loved the spa amenities outside and the restaurant garden seats .

This hotel exudes charm and elegance with its cozy, comfortable old English decor. The moment you step inside, you're transported to a bygone era, surrounded by beautifully appointed furnishings and a warm, inviting ambiance. However, the front reception staff fell short of the hotel's grandeur. Despite the hotel's impeccable aesthetic, the welcome I received was far from warm and hospitable. Upon arrival, I was not offered assistance with my bags, which is a standard courtesy I've come to expect at establishments of this caliber. Instead, I felt like just another guest being ushered through the motions, rather than a valued patron. The reception desk was quite busy, which is understandable, but as a first-time visitor to the area, I expected a more personalized and informative experience. My questions about the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions were met with rushed responses, lacking the genuine care and attention that should accompany such inquiries. Disappointingly, I was not provided with any information about the hotel's offerings or recommendations for things to do during my stay. Instead, I was simply handed a key and directed to my room, leaving me to navigate the unfamiliar surroundings on my own. As a frequent traveler who often stays at hotels of this standard, I found the lack of customer service disappointing and cold.

Room was clean as always, missing towels in the room, the only down side for me, no EV charging point… overall great place to stay

Room not ready so were invited for a glass of fizz. Room up some very steep stairs do not get room 23! Breakfast disappointing as the hot breakfast was cold and the bacon and poached eggs were overcooked. Wish we had stuck to the buffet after paying £300 for a night expected a better meal as we were then paying another £40. Decor amazing staff lovely and spa very nice . On the whole a good experience

Overall a great stay - room was great size and great size bathroom - just too cold. Service in restaurant great - no complaints and would stay again. Parking availability could be a problem - we were lucky - got a space!!

We had a good night but were very disappointed at the lack of tea and coffee in the bedroom. We then went down to breakfast and they told us we couldn’t have a table as we hadn’t booked. When we checked in, we were told that breakfast was between 7am and 10am and to go down whenever we liked. We weren’t told to book a table. It completely spoilt our stay.

Lovely hotel, great decor, v nicely done, our room was upgraded which was generous. Reception staff were perfect. Strange to have an internal window in our room and as we were on the ground floor was v dark, great for one night but otherwise too depressing with no natural light. Restaurant/bar had a lot of potential, beautifully airy and light, gorgeous decor and great food but poor service and attention to detail. Once you managed to get a member of staff they were amazingly friendly and great, but seemed to be a lot of staff busy being unorganised, and forgetting things, which was strange. Teamwork needs to be better. Overall lovely stay we walked into town, park opposite, lots of great restaurants and pubs so nice anniversary break.

STAFF: Breakfast on the first morning was not good. The ‘manager’ was rude and we felt like an inconvenience. Two staff had an argument in the middle of the dining room over the business. Reception staff were mostly friendly except one who was very abrupt. ROOM: Clean and comfortable. The air conditioning unit made an almighty rattle which was annoying over night. We left the ‘please service the room’ sign on the door at 9:30am, and by 5pm it had still not been cleaned. FOOD: We had breakfast x2 and evening meal x2. Cooked Breakfast was disappointing for the price. It also took ages to come (45 mins after ordering one morning). The evening meal was delicious though. The 2nd evening meal was a real disappointment. After being seated, the kitchen decided to stop taking orders. We ended up waiting nearby 90 mins to place an order. OVERALL: This is our fourth stay here. Everyone other time we’ve been very impressed. This time, however, we were left disappointed and frustrated by the service we received.
