The only thing I seebad is the roaches, also how we couldn't find a remote for our tv, and our top stairs neighbors and next door on the left of my room 125 we're both making banging noise and playing loud music all night

Parking is terrible and there were bugs in the bathtub. :( Will definitely not be back.

They overbooked the hotel by more than a hundred people and canceled all reservations made indirectly without notifying guests the night before the solar eclipse. I had no place to stay. They won’t answer their phone now when Expedia calls to confirm that they overbooked so that I can be compensated somehow, so I’ve gotten no help from the hotel.

I traveled all the way from Washington state to Texas, and this location did not honor my reservation. Left me with no place to stay.

I was denied a room at this location because the management at the hotel erred and overbooked. I understand mistakes happen but it’s truly indefensible on the part of management to not contact the people and let them know of this issue and inform them once the customer is at the property.
It’s unacceptable on the part of the management to allow this to happen.

Can’t rate the property because they wouldn’t honor my reservation through Expedia. It was overbooked so no rooms were available and we were turned away.

Despite our pre-paid reservation months in advance they said they had no room for us and turned us away. Drop Econolodge from your offerings. I expect a full refund at the least but it is a sorry way to run a busines.

The bed needs to be replaced. The bed was very old, could feel the springs in the mattress. The room was very old looking and needed up graded. The air conditioner and the hot water were great.

Location was very outdated. Pool under repair. Front desk clerk hard to understand.
Chair in room was broken furniture needed repair. After 7pm. Snall roaches came out. By 1pm large roaches and other critters came out. I left after 6am. Because roach crawled on bed. I was visiting a friend and i stayed at with him after the event. Very disappointed.

It does not serve breakfast as stated. The owner i think said,we close on the weekend. The area looks unsafe. Many occupants drink all night a play loud music. I should have read reviews 1st. This was for a friend who was stranded and had no money. The breakfast was what he needed and the quiet night to rest.

I was turned down after making reservations 5 days prior to my arrival. Arrived and advised hotel was full! Really no one ever contacted me to inform me of no vacancy.

Felt as though I was going to fall through the floor in areas. Hot water only stayed on for 5 mins. House keeping were noisy with there cart. Key to door was deactivated on my second night. I will not be coming back.

Really good free wifi, probably the lowest cost in the area. But, i found a roach and another large bug in my room, the mini fridge did not work and smelled AWFUL, and housekeeping only came to clean the room once in my 4 night stay.

window clerk very inhospitable; wouldnt let me sign in for my room; kept asking me how many people even though he had already pulled up my reservation and asked for my ID; claimed a flood had gotten to my room and no more rooms were available and that they were all booked up for one month with workers; refused to suggest other hotels, refused to call around for vacancies refused to give phone book for me to call around; kept looking around me at my cab and looking me up and down; this was after i had been contacted earlier that day to ascertain my arrival time and that they would upgrade me to a large fridge if i wanted it because i was staying so long. very cold reception

First off, I knew I was not getting a five star hotel when I booked. When we walked in the room, it was obviously dated (met expectations) but was really clean. Things went down from there. You will not have to worry about bed bugs. The bed was so uncomfortable I’m sure they wouldn’t even sleep there. The mattress was hard as a rock and had a thick plastic mattress protector on it that crinkled when you moved. Walls were paper thin, we heard noises from multiple rooms all night as well as lots of activity outside (car alarms, music and people talking). If you absolutely have to have a place to sleep, sleep in your car.

The stay was ok. Pillows were not very comfortable, the toilet paper was very cheaply made, the towels were cheaply made, stains in the bath tub. Quiet area. However, the hotel price was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.
